Watching LSU vs OU is a painful experience. I don't recommend it.

It's not a playoff, it's a brand name invitational when teams with more losses are being campaigned for and included based on the brand name while excluding and campaigning against other schools with

  • are some of y’all trying to be “good fans” or “objective” or something when you say that it’s the florida loss that’s keeping us out? cuz y’all know that’s not true right? it’s only been repeated 10,0

Sarkisian went on the SEC morning show today and doubled down on both Texas deserving to be in the playoffs and reconsidering the OOC schedule going forward. He basically said, with the SEC going to 9

The G5 auto bid might be the dumbest thing in sports history. What moron came up with that.

G5 lawyers.

Completely forgot SEC is going to 9 conference games next year. Should definitely cancel all future elite OOC games and adjust the schedule where we play a conference game in the first 3 weeks and move one of the directional games to end of season. My apologies to those who I shit talked regarding that. I was still under the assumption of 8 conference games.

F it.Play 12 SEC games.

Go to 16 teams a 3 loss team or two get in, problem solved.

the shitty part about this year is I’m starting to think Texas could make some noise and advance a round or two.

We're locked in to Ohio St and Michigan. Both of those games were leveraged by Fox as part of our deal to move to the SEC. After that, yes, call up Rice and schedule for the next 10 years.

What about the 2 following games with Notre Dame?

Shut the fuck up Rex.

Will be interesting to see if the LSU Okie shitshow continues on into the second half, or if it gets rolling ala Texas last night. I know which team I'd rather watch... Texas with Manning, Wingo and Wisner

Is anyone else getting slight hope? Michigan, vandy, ou, there’s a chance…Washington would be great but wouldn’t kick them out. Should but won’t. Those 3 would put us at 12-13…auburn!

OU or bama loses Texas goes to 11 (we are already 12 or 13 now) and BYU loss next week pushes us to 10. Something like that.

Just need OU or Bama to lose. The rest is just noise.

Just OU or Bama losing at this point likely gets us in. I don't think Vandy actually matters. We are going to jump them because we just beat another top 10 team. Ideally both Bama and OU lose and then we should be a lock. I don't see the Big 12 or the ACC getting more than 1 each. But Stanford can do the funniest thing and help everyone out.

Tree would be incredible. Everyone root for and enjoy your tree..maybe at the same time.

I think this is right except Miami could pose a problem unless they back into the ACC title game (and win or lose). Their win over Notre dame is sacrosanct.

How the hell is OU 9-2?

Because they eat a lot of dicks

Does anyone on the committee really think OU is better or more deserving than Texas?

I would be more confident of beating OU again at a neutral site than I would of beating Vanderbilt.

OU is so bad. I don’t give a fuck about 2 losses or 3 losses. The difference in our records being separated by Michigan/Ohio State and we all saw how that played out today. The fact OU is ranked 8th is a joke.

Didn’t we beat their ass on a neutral field? Asking for the committee…

aggy should opt out of the playoffs in protest of whatever seed they are going to get. They would avoid being embarrassed in the first round and be able to sit around telling everyone how they would have won. They might even be able to declare themselves national champs and hang a sign on the wall.

Lol.  Let them get that L by north Texas or Tulane or whatever

If TT blows the doors off BYU again they should be out.

That's strange punishment for TT, but I'm all for it.

The scenarios are complicated but I don’t think we’re getting the help we needed in the ACC today. Two ACC bids (champ + at large Miami) is very bad for us.

Yeah it's time for people to stop pretending a Mateer injury had anything to do with OU getting their asses whipped by Texas.  Mateer is ass my dude.

I dont want to get my hopes up but holy shit, LSU is in excellent position with the way Mateer is playing to pull this off and put us into the playoff.

I don't think the ACC is getting 2.

I’m getting the feeling that Notre Dame might get left out. Zero quality wins after today

Only if they lose to Stanford.

Zero chance, ND is an auto bid with 2 or less losses.

Yes

Going to the prevent offense up 7 in the 3rd rarely works

OU backing their way into a post season game is a tradition of theirs

I think that is their peak offense.

So if OU barely wins will the committee slam them for a shitty win and vault Texas ahead? They fucking should.

Van Buren should've sold out for the 1st Down on that last possession. Gutless

I want us to cancel the game immediately if are not in the playoffs. If the game is manage the win loss column, we need to play the game. Fuck what anyone thinks.

I want quality OOC games. I want Texas to not lose to teams like Florida and not go to overtime with other shit teams. I want Texas to recruit, coach, and play with the discipline necessary to not allow one OOC game keep them out of the expanded playoff.

Fuck scheduling shit teams for wins and then getting exposed like aggy consistently does.

All that’s good. And true.

But we also we shouldn’t schedule potential losses and have no margin of error.

It'd be nice not to shit the bed in November after another bye week, too.
