November 4Nov 4 Looks badass. Getting great reviews. It's currently at 91% on Rotten Tomatoes If you have ever said "How come they don't make movies like (Predator/Aliens/Dredd/Gladiator/Edge of Tomorrow)", go see this movie. This movie needs to make money so that more awesome actions movies get made. Review quotes: "It’s big, it’s bold, and it’s packed with gnarly kills—and it truly wants you to feel every bone-crunching moment in your bones. This is the Predator theatrical experience we’ve been waiting for." "Rest assured, though: even with the softer rating, Badlands remains every bit as violent as the rest of the franchise."

November 5Nov 5 Saw a review today that because all the kills are aliens and synthetics it could be gruesome as long as the blood wasn’t red and still get the PG13 rating.

November 6Nov 6 I'm hoping we get a future Predator movie set during a World War, American Revolutionary War, something like that.

November 7Nov 7 I saw it last night. This was a GREAT movie. I want to go see it again. The acting was superb and the CGI was ridiculous. Can’t wait for the next part of this story.

The kills in this movie go hard in the paint. I mean really hard.

If you haven't seen Prey watch it, native Americans vs predator. Also, Killer of Killers. It's animated which will turn some people off, but it is also worth a watch. Both are on Hulu.

November 11Nov 11 eh, i'll be the dissenter for a change... it was just okay, but it's my fault that i didn't read up on it more. a bit too disney-fied for my tastes. i realize now i should have expected that based on casting lol. it took me a good hour to get over how UN-Predator-y the general feel of it was...i enjoyed it more once i let go of that. the cgi was good and the makeup should earn an oscar-nom, but a lot of it just felt like animation. i did like the art design of both planets... and during the final Tessa fight with the kalisk was i the only one expecting to hear 'get away from her YOU BITCH!' 😆
November 11Nov 11 I struggled a bit through the first hour or so (it was also during my afternoon slump), but from when the kalisk shows up through the end, it rips.

November 11Nov 11 I went back to see it in 4DX 3D. I personally love the 4DX and the seats moving and all that. You don't need that for this movie, but I would suggest a 3D showing. It really added to the movie honestly. However you see this movie is up to you, but I felt the 3D version was really cool. Even if you don't want to watch it that way just go see it and enjoy it. You'll have to try really hard to not enjoy this one.
November 11Nov 11 2nd best predator. Most fun ive had at the movies since Top Gun. Maybe 8/10. Loved it.

Think I’m just going with normal viewing on this one
November 13Nov 13 Really entertaining. Caught it at the Alamo and forgot how nice theaters can be after going to my ghetto amc so much. A little corny, but great action. Played out like a video game, really. Agree CGI was really good, did not stand out. Can't decide if Elle Fanning is hot or not but she played a good role as well. I thought it was WY corp coming for the predators at the end, didn't expect "mother".

I kinda enjoyed that aspect as well as the Calisk storyline. I can’t wait to see the Calisk in the next movie as well. I do get your take though. If you go in with expectations of how you think a Predator movie will or should go you’ll be disappointed somewhat. Edited November 14Nov 14 by UpperWestside
November 13Nov 13 Was shit weather here (for once) on my day off so did a back to back of this and Chainsaw Man. Would do both again. Edited November 13Nov 13 by Hank_Hill

It's a hard core watch, like gore and themes...but if you like just shit happening the final half out is crazy good.
November 20Nov 20 Loved it. I was thoroughly entertained. Enjoyed the comic relief which had just the right amount of cheese. It is definitely a different direction from the typical predator flick.
November 24Nov 24 Enjoyed it. Not as good as Prey, and several parts made me roll my eyes. Spoiler Like teaching the spitting cobra thing to fire on command and at a particular target via you know, brain waves But worth seeing. Visuals and sound were great. Edited November 24Nov 24 by LTbear
