Very bad news for Mamdani. It looks like he’s going to lose Kentucky.

Waking up in NYC to the Mamdani win, the end of Cuomo's political career, and the Bergdorf holiday windows under construction all point to a great holiday season.

Fucking shitass 4th estate. Why can't they just call Trump a fucking liar?

Also, sent in my absentee ballot for Mamdani yesterday. Felt good.

Also "without presenting evidence," which implies that there might be evidence.

They've never had evidence, there is no evidence, they're fucking lying.

All YIMBY ballot measures are currently winning in NYC by 10-point margins at least

Not all of those are as straightforward. I voted no on 2-4 because it gives the mayor A LOT of power. Eric Adams proposed those in bad faith, and that was what drove my no.

What we know so far, 9:30pm —Dems flip VA-Gov & VA-LG. —BIG Dem gains in VA House —Dems win NJ-Gov —Mamdani up —Dems seem to flip 2 statewide offices in GA —JD Vance's half-brother loses in Cincy. —Dems sweep Orlando council —PA: Dem justices up big —Maine anti-mail vote measure down —Krasner wins

That last one: I always see "Fire Krasner" banners at election time.  Republicans hate him.

I mailed mine back on October 26, and it was received valid on October 28. Definitely voted Mamdani. Alas, my neighborhood went for Cuomo. Sigh.

Fucking maddening. Fuck everyone. Oh now, in 2025, you realize that Trump and MAGA is completely destructive, and voting for ANYONE over them is the correct call?

What I learned tonight is the future of the Democratic Party is a trans Muslim CIA agent wine mom who wants to eliminate capitalism and barter with people on the free bus.

My conclusion from tonight: there's gonna be a Lobster Nazi in the Senate in a year.  Let the man run.

There is a good argument that Zohran Mamdani did not win the New York mayoral race, because constitutionally votes for him are only worth 3/5ths of votes for Cuomo. —Ilan Wurman, Yale Law Review, Spring 2026

Good for NYC. We should be all about viability testing different political philosophies, particularly regional testing of the most extreme.

Political philosophy is horseshit at every level, but completely irrelevant at the local level.
