Is this a moral victory or no?

Sure it is....but losing to #1 and #2 ranked teams really don't count.....they expect to lose to these big boys and this just represents a learning experience.  I'm sure there are more Louisiana teams they will be playing to get more W's.

They'll always have that one time they beat Bama and still didn't win the division.

Unlikely that the one with State in their name is one of those, as they have owned aTm, even in bad years.

0-4 in non-conference when not playing the cupcakes. Also 0-5 vs LSU & Bammer so it's really like going 4-4 against everyone else....

Fisher certainly looks like he's enjoying the money, looks like he rolled out of bed for the game after a couple days drinking and fishing out in the gulf.  Didn't have time to shave though.

He used to get pissed on the sidelines at FSU when things went sideways, because there were sometimes playoffs on the line.  He truly looks like he knows the reality of his situation, reminds me of a little league coach for a not particularly good team encouraging the kids to keep playing.

And lik the little league coach who is volunteering his time, there's no real pressure on Baggins because guaranteed.  Good thinking aggy.

I know it's for endorsement purposes, but the whole "let's place a bottle of soda & water on the podium" is rather tacky, and screams, "go buy this product fan"...

Coca-Cola is a major Bama sponsor. I think they pay about a third of Saban's salary each year. Note he never drinks the Coke, always drinks the Dasani instead.

He could prob get an extra 500k if he would just take a swig once in a while

Then he might not live until age 120, 5 years after he finally retires from Bama. Plus Dasani is a Coca-Cola product, so he is technically pimping their product.

40years ago it would be Coke and Marlboros.

Dasani is a Coca Cola product, so they don’t really care which one he drinks. Dasani is probably just their purified water for their sodas and sports drinks but without the sugars and flavoring.

Like when beer manufacturers can and bottle water for disaster relief.

He's never clean shaven or non-hangover looking.  Doesn't have a fanbase he has to impress anymore.  Or a woman.
