I’m currently reading “Some Day All the Adults Will Die” by Pat Blashill, which is all the same characters being interviewed as in these movies. Also got “Texas is the Reason” photo book of his, which is kind of redundant since many of the images are in the other book. Great stuff though. Barely missed it due to no fault of my own being born late. If only my parents thought of other soon to be people a wee bit earlier.
November 13Nov 13 I was about to come over here and put those links up. I think The Stranglers were the first band i saw there, and I was going to so many shows there I thought I might as well get a job there. So I was a busboy and rarely bartender. I was going to work the door but I wanted to see the bands, not the upstairs bar. Anyhow the documentary is neat, and I am up to the Sex Pistols show in SA. Saw so many bands up close at Club Foot it spoiled me for life. I especially liked the early part of the documentary, regarding the accordion and it's evolution in Central Texas. As a soccer trainer I used to work with joked to me one time very dryly, "I hate the German People! Because they gave my people that damn accordion!" But pretty good documentary, I hope the folks that made it get into the black and can make some more.
