Well, sir, you are not forced to attend.

Though if it is an NFL stadium it shan't be Jerrah World, cause fuck giving that guy money.

Wisconsin/Camp Randall is an awesome game day experience.

Hence why it was #1 on my list.

Been there a lot as when I lived in Chicago. A good friend used to run a tailgate there. Tons of fun.

Would have to be in an NFL stadium because their on-campus is too small but Northwestern would be cool because Chicago is a great city as long as you don’t get kill’t….

when was the last time you had to stand in line for 2 hours at midnight to check in?

it happens every day in vegas

when was the last time either of you were there on a weekend?

the post-rona bridge and tunnel southland invasion, flyover tourists, the jersey/miami crowd, it's become a gravity well for the least pleasing groups of our fellow citizens

chitowndoc and gandorf, with fuckyou money and the porn crowd, if that's you, fantastic

a front row table in the wynn field club is $25k-$60k, plus sales tax (8.375%), venue fee (12.75%) and autogratuity (15%)

for the rank and file of our fanbase it would be a disaster for those that are unprepared to deal with what vegas has become

the mgm aria charges $26 for the bottle of water in your room

at the paris there is no desk and no open outlets next to the 'shelf' that holds the minibar tray - when you unplug the tray to charge your devices you are charged $50 automatically and they will not refund it

have you ever arrived at the car rental facility at 9pm only to find the counter is closed and there are no cars even though your name is on the gold board?

do i need to go on?

and while we are here, just who the fuck are we going to play?  (obviously not unlv)

are the restaurants spectacular?  absolutely

is the sphere unique on the planet?  sure

how much of our traveling fanbase wants to drop $2000/day for a family of 4 on top of air and tickets?

it's more expensive than disney w/ fully-leaded vip everything if you are doing stuff

Somewhere international, partner up with another school and play a game in Mexico or Europe like the NFL does. Texas is a big enough name and it could be cool for the school. Don’t lose a home game over it though.

Out of Conference game in Wales against Bangor University's might Bangor Muddogs.

For sure would love to go see a game there.

It’s a nice little stadium. The visitor side addition should be open for business next season.

Last week of October, first week of November. Perfect crisp mornings. Brilliant foliage. History all around.
You're only 50 miles from NYC.

It's a great road trip! And your team might get the ball 3X per half.

Popped my WP cherry a few seasons ago when they played Wake in a wild scoring affaire, really cool environment.

To be fair, War Memorial Stadium in Laramie is 29k stadium.

Of all of these suggestions, Washington would probably be top of my list if you factor destination and football atmosphere equally.

OK, top of my list outside of ND in Dublin, which is so far above the rest of the options it can’t even see them with the naked eye…

Washington and Oregon are my 1 and 2. UCLA again so we can go back to the Rose Bow. Stanford/Cal for another trip to the Bay area and because we wouldn't have the majority of the fans there. I also would love another series with USC. We're forever linked to one another. Screw anything international. Home and homes only. That's college football.

Get UCLA in before they move to Sofi. Barf

and yeah, hard pass on international

Boulder would be cool place to return to after a decade and some change not playing there.    My oldest is in Denver and it would be good quick trip for the weekend to escape the late August and early September heat for 72 hours or so.

Hawaii would also be a fun experience.    Never have been to Islands and I’d make the game the last part of a week or two vacation .

If we are talking foreign countries, Monterrey or Mexico City would be a blast and easily accessible and either city is a relatively short flight from San Antonio or Austin.

While attending ITESM in the early 1960s I saw the Rams play Texarkana JC (lost to the gringos 50-0).

Texas should play in Australia every 4-5 years so that they could build the Texas brand really strong there, ala Dodgers in Japan and Spurs in France, so that every punter and placekicker out of Australia wants to come to Texas. And the cultural alignment between Australians and Texans is decent. Plus Sydney, Melbourne would be a great vacation trip.

A game in Australia against a mid tier P4 school would be awesome. Something like Ga Tech or Wake Forest or Michigan state of the like. Schedule that year would need to be something like- Australia- Week 0, off- week 1, cupcake game, Week 2, big time OOC game week 3. Texas would own 2 of the 4 weeks on the pre season schedule as a big time OOC games typically don’t happen in Week 3. Domers can’t be super picky not being in a conference so they’d probably be happy to do that. It would be pretty great actually and worth not having a game week 1. Between that and a cupcake week 2 the travel should be just fine and you’d be ready to go when the games get serious. won’t happen but would be cool.
my away game list: SDSU, USC, Stanford, Washington, Nevada, UNLV, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, BYU, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Domers, Minnesota, Michigan, Tulane, Memphis, Ga Tech, UVA, West Va, Maryland, Wake Forest, NC, NC State, Duke, Miami, temple, Rutgers, Boston College, any Ivy League school would be kind of fun, and if we did that in a year where we had a strong P2 team on our schedule at home, and a UTEP type nobody should say shit about it. Dartmouth?  Sign me up. Sounds like fun and pretty country up there. Obviously would never happen just like Australia but think it would be neat.

Just got back from road tripping with my son to Happy Valley (we’re located in Detroit) for the PSU/IU game.

Solid experience, nice enough stadium, nice people. Traditions were good, game was outstanding. Their stadium access and accessibility to facilities/food was top notch, though the stadium isn’t particularly visually appealing.

Would say the experience was similar to Michigan, but a little less in basically every way. We still had a good time though.

What an epic game. How fast did the crowd leave when they knew it was over? Hahaha

They’re playing Michigan at Wrigley this week.

Two places I really want to see are on the schedule next season. I leave for number 3 on Friday.

I’d love to play at Wyoming again. Couldn’t make that trip due to wedding I could not skip.

It was! We were in the side of the stadium where penn state scored to go up, which was also the student end. Good times!

The stadium was hyped/surprised by the mid-4th, so you can imagine the deflation when the call was upheld. It was so close to the end, almost everyone stayed.

Also, the PSU video boards weren’t high quality enough to have resolution to see a good the replay in the stadium.

Oh that would be fucking phenomenal!

Charlottesville, VA was a great trip back in the 90’s. I think we are due to visit there again.

Visitors side is pretty spartan unless you're getting a handy on the hilltop.
