Nah, I believe a loss to Arkansas kills us. You can't be a three-loss team with two of those losses to teams with losing records and get in - unless there's a shit ton of other fuck ups that allow it to happen. That would be a crazy scenario though: beat UGA and A&M, have four wins over top-10 teams, but three losses, two of which are horrible. Edited November 10Nov 10 by MuellerHorn

We can't effectively run the ball at all against anybody with a pulse this year, sans a decent effort against OU (where we still averaged less than 4 yards a tote) So no, I won't count on us beating Georgia unless that somehow miraculously changes. Short passes have the exact same effect on clock and game control. We just need to get short yards so that the defense has to respect the short game, whether it is by running with a RB, FB, WR, TEs screen, RPO or QB dives/runs, we have options. The line looked better against Vanderbilt. I think that Wisner and Baxter will have some success, now that we are throwing short.

November 10Nov 10 Yes but we never had to face Prairie View A&M....so there's that.If we're just going by the time aggy has been in the SEC this will be our 4th time facing Georgia to the ags one.
November 10Nov 10 Don't think the losses mean as much as the wins. Nobody else would have beat 4 top-10 teams. Win em all and we will never know...If we win our next 3 it would take some insane fuckery to keep us out of the playoffs. So with that in mind, I think we should win our next 3 games..or at least score more points than the opponent.

November 10Nov 10 Will Sark build a gameplan designed to work around his shitty o-line? Will Sark have his team ready to match UGA's intensity at night in Sanford? Will Arch keep building on a growingly successful late season campaign? At least those three questions will have to be answered with a Yes for us to win this game. I think theres a good chance Arch will have a decent game but only if Sark helps him out. I dont have confidence thats going to happen. Is Sark preparing a gameplan designed to run his offense the way he wants it to be run, or is he designing one based on the realities of our personnel and UGA's strengths/weaknesses? This game will be won or lost before we even get on the plane.

November 11Nov 11 That Florida loss is gonna hurt us if we can’t find a way to win out. For everyone saying we can go 9–3… yeah, okay. Let BYU make it to the Championship game win or lose plus ND winning out, and don’t forget about the ACC. We have to find a way to win this game.
November 11Nov 11 Shut down the run game like we are more than capable of doing and I can live with being beat by Gunner Stockton. So many people on here are more scared of the uniform than the actual players on the field. Edited November 11Nov 11 by ITHorn
November 11Nov 11 - The passing defense will be better with Taafe back. - Sark finally decided to call the offense differently the past 5 quarters and it is working. - The OL looked better with the better play calling and Hutson at LG and Robertson at C. - Arch is showing more accuracy and confidence. Those are the reasons I am thinking we will win this game.
November 11Nov 11 I think this game hinges on being able to stop their running game. LBs need to have a really good game on Saturday.

I would had lowlights from the last two UGA games playing on every monitor possible on a loop 24/7 to remind them that this isn't just any game. I don't know who Sark has as a confidant for a Come to Jesus talk but there needs to be someone that can get through to him. Think Joe D a couple of years ago did that. He just felt like he gave zero fucks if Sark liked him or not. Not sure if they have anyone on staff to do it now.

November 11Nov 11 Sark didnt call the same shit that worked against OU in the Kentucky game… or the 1st 3 quarters of the MSU game for that matter Hes not gonna call the game like he did against Vandy. You can bet on that. Expect lots of running straight into the teeth of the defense, senseless deep bombs that dont connect, and the slowest developing plays this side of Polaroid still shots

And you eliminated OU from that equation who we have done it to twice. Also Clemson in the playoffs last year. Really solid point. Also, Michigan got absolutely wrecked by us. As defending champs. And a team that also beat the national champs the same year we wrecked them.

Well I had to eliminate OU bc it's the only good team we've consistently annihilated lol. Plus win or lose, the rivalry aspect makes it such an outlier. The Michigan game prob the closest. But they ended up sucking ass that year. We let Clemson come back. That was not a beat down in my opinion. I think the overall sunshine pumping will reach week 0 levels if we can pull this victory off. People are still fucked in the head after witnessing weeks 1-5. Edited November 11Nov 11 by BurgleBro

November 11Nov 11 And there 100% will be a DPI or defensive holding flag that comes out late on a Georgia 3rd and 10+.And the rare defensive holding by a tackle or nose.
November 11Nov 11 Looking forward to seeing some big time games from our big time guys. Simmons and Burke are peaking right now. Hill has been making impact plays all year. These are the guys that can change the game imo. Maybe sneak in a Taaffe interception after Stockton gets flushed and makes a stupid throw across his body.

Guess what? Losers know how to lose, and Kentucky was slightly more interested in losing that game than we were and MSST snatched defeat from the jaws of victory like I knew they could. Vandy just isn’t near as good as us. Plucky overachievers that aren’t schematically unique tend to get drilled by uber talented Big State U, which is what happened when they played Bama and us, and I suspect that might happen when they get TN later in the year. This though, this is different. Until I see differently I’m going to go with “we ain’t beating no Georgia”. Unless we do. There are certainly things we could do to make that happened. I just don’t trust Arch, Sark our OL, our RB or our receivers to come out and be excellent. I’m also not sure I trust PK to scheme anything unique against their offense where the defense more or less single handedly wins the game for us. Could it happen? Sure. I just have to see it first before I believe it. Georgia isn’t better than us. They get us at home- advantage them. We get them off a bye and a team that should be healthy and have game planned for them for 2 weeks. Advantage us. Kirby Smart apparently controls the refs. Advantage them. We have played like absolute shit on the road all year with at least one of our units (offense v OSU, defense v Florida- though O wasn’t great, offense v Kentucky and defense v MSST). We need a complete game, called well by the coaches and officiated cleanly to win. It also would help if the ball bounced our way just once- unlike the 6 bad breaks we got in the SEC title game last year. That seems like a lot. I’m betting against it until I see it. You sure about that? Sark's had an extra week to outsmart himself.

November 11Nov 11 Much like last year, Georgia’s front 7 will abuse our OL. I expect Arch to be under heavy pressure all night even with Kirby only rushing 4 most downs. This gives their DBs carte Blanche to jam the fuck out of our receivers. Sark will abandon the run game too early and we’ll be forced to rely on Arch’s legs too much. Lots of deep shot incompletions. I foresee a major regression in the offense much like last year in Austin when we basically couldn’t gain a fucking yard for an entire half.
