Shut up!  Shut the fuck up!  Shut up!  Shut up!  Shut up!

Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, and started Clear and Present Danger. It’s been years since I’ve seen any of them and they all hold up.

The Invisible Man was way better than I expected. Worth $20? Debatable.

Logan Lucky - great watch, loved it

1922 - stephen king, meh

Mud - good watch, modern day tom sawyer story

Jack/Keaton/Bassinger Batman the other night.  Still enjoyable to watch.

Mark Walburg Netflix cop movie.

God, it sucked.

I am fairly confident there wasn’t a screenplay written for it, ham-handed cliches one after another.

A Few Good Men

It had been a while. No frills. No special effects. Just good actors acting good.

2020 The Hunt < No Escape 2015

Back to back. Father figure survival over the apathetic actress in a mashed up movie of three

The girlfriend never watched Space Jam before, and I have to say Bill Murray is the best part and the music is great. Otherwise it's bad.

Jo Jo Rabbit - would highly recommend.  The wife and 15 yo daughter (no pics of either) really liked it as well.

We have our “night out at the movies” in my man cave. Last week we watched Dr. Zhivago in segments over three evenings. Last night we started on Tom Jones (1963) with Albert Finney. Have about 20 favorite classics on the DVR, plus another 100 hours of documentaries & specials.

IT pt 1+2

Continues the grand tradition of Stephen King movies being absolutely terrible

Just watched. Amazing. We should all be better people.

Toy Story 4. Didn't have much expectations for it as it seemed like a money grab but it wasn't bad at all.

What the actual F***. The second wasn’t great (far from terrible), but the first one was badass.

The Good Dinosaur on Disney+.

Gorgeous movie in DolbyVision 4K. Super realistic landscapes. I was super impressed that Pixar can pull this stuff off. Amazing.

Surprised me just how ‘brutal’ it was. Watch it and see.
Not a Disney classic, but better than most crap out there.

Go *voice  crack* Bu-ulls

We watched this on a road trip recently and kids enjoyed it.

Spy - better and funnier than expected.

I love this movie so much.

A Streetcar Named Desire. Had never seen it before.

Good Will Hunting - Just a fantastic movie and Robin was a National Treasure, RIP.

Watched Proof of Life.

Pretty good for a 20 year old movie. lol

The Upside - never been much of a Kevin Hart fan but thought he was really good in this.

Thought it was amazing.

6 Underground - made it 10 minutes then turned it off. It's like a cheesier verious of F&F (is such a thing even possible?)

Mad Max Fury Road - first time seeing it since the theaters, really enjoyed it again

World War Z - it fit the apocalypse vibe going on. I like the movie okay. Yeah, the book is better, but they are completely different things other than the name.

Long Shot -- kinda liked it;  Charlize Theron was great

Bombshell -- very good; couldn't believe how much they made actors look like the people they were playing

The Florida Project -- gave up about an hour into it; one of my least favorite movies ever

Office Space - for the 1000th time.  Two chicks at the same time, man.

Sound of Music - Julie Andrews, the family absolutely loved it.

Mary Poppins - Julie Andrews, the family could not get into and then couldn't stand it. I get the cockney accent is the case study on American's doing bad accents, but for my money, Step in Time and Chim-Chim-Cheree are the best in the biz.

I've watched a few of the Hershel Gordon Lewis movies that Criterion Collection put up.  This is pretty representative.  Deliverance meets Midsommer:

I should probably mine more life-affirming veins of cinema until we're done with corona lockdown.

You sound like you have an intelligent family. Best in the biz? Depends on the biz. If we’re talking musical numbers from the 60’s, the line starts right behind this.

Assassination Nation on Hulu.  Same dude that created Euphoria on HBO.  It is batshit. And if you saw previews, it’s much more like Euphoria than the previews.

1917.  Tremendous.  Will probably never see again.

Reservoir Dogs, because I hadn’t  seen it 20 years.  Holds up.

She got NCIS'd.

Watching The Cooler yesterday and forgot he was in it.

day of the jackal.

the jackal was an idiot.  he had so many chances to kill cdg.  instead he got pegged by the french dude at the turkish bath all for nothing.

Spectrum is giving Epix/Showtime free to subscribers during this time, been watching a lot of great movies lately.

A Perfect World last night, Greenbook the night before and caught the end of Best of Enemies. need to see that one from beginning.
