November 15Nov 15 SEC tiebreaker rules for 2025 season The SEC will use six potential tie-breakers for the 2025 season in this order until the tie is broken: Step 1: Head-to-head competition: This is the easiest tie-beaker. Did Team A beat Team B? Step 2: Record vs. all common conference opponents. Step 3: Record against highest (best) placed common conference opponent in the conference standings, and proceeding through the conference standings among tied teams. Step 4: Cumulative conference winning percentages of all conference opponents among tied teams. Step 5: Capped relative total scoring margin vs. all conference opponents among the tied teams. Step 6: Random draw. So, if OU were to beat Bama, & Texas won out, Texas would win tie-breaker vs Georgia & A&M based on “Step 1”. And they would win tie-breaker w/ Bama based on “Step 2”. If Ole Miss beats Florida tonight, they would have tie-breaker over UT based on “Step 2”. Maybe im missing something, but wouldn’t this mean Texas vs Somebody in SEC Championship Game?
November 15Nov 15 This is a helluva game so far. Neither side giving surrender cobra. I like battles. Oddly enough if OU wins this one Venables may have DeBoer’s number. It happens sometimes. Sark better best Smart tonite. this game reminds me of my childhood. Just smash mouth.

November 15Nov 15 Both these QBs are playing wild with the ball. Bama isn't getting consistent enough pressure to force mistakes on Mateer, though. Edited November 15Nov 15 by JBJ

The battle many of us wanted. Kiffin v Sark. At least Kiffin was loyal as a colleague to Sark and didn’t dirty fucking recruit vs sark to get Arch like Saban did. A lot of people want to see these two offensive minds go at it. All the marbles. And to watch Paul Finebaum whine. Cuz no Georgia and no Bama in the SEC CCG would fuck him up. Good. 🤘🏼

If OU wins then you're going to see some bullshittery like in 08. Oh but Mateer wasn't the same QB he is now. You never ever root for OU.

H2H wouldn’t apply in a tie between Texas, UGA, and A&M because UGA and A&M didn’t play. Yes it’s silly when one team is 2-0 against the others but whatever tiebreaker is used has to be applied with all tied teams to narrow the tie and start again at the top. It would go to record against common opponents, where the Florida loss would knock us out. https://bball.notnothing.net/bracket_cloud.php?conf=secfb Edited November 15Nov 15 by LonghornSean

As soon as I got to her very small town, I was pulled over by a cop. He knew my name, and was waiting to escort me to the family home. So, I hate Alabama more than Oklahoma. There is more to it.

If team A goes 2-0 vs B and C, and B and C did't play each other.... it wouldn't actually matter because the very best either of them could be is 1-1.
November 15Nov 15 Is it possible that Sark is a really good playcaller and has OU’s number? Because my eyes see a pretty elite defense right now.
