November 17Nov 17 a male patron made a doordash order to be “left at the door”, and when the female dasher arrived he was seemingly asleep on his couch with his pants around his ankles. he recorded it and posted it online claiming she’d been sexually assaulted, and now she’s been fired and she says the police aren’t helping. opinions are divided: some say she’s the victim and is being treated unfairly (she definitely seems to be spiraling as she identifies as the victim while her employer and the police seek to disagree), while others say that her posting him nude in his own home online actually makes her the perpetrator and him the victim. i personally think the guy knew what he was doing, but i also don’t think she’s handled it well.
November 17Nov 17 Author there’s a whole bunch of references in the comments to the fact that the door was supposedly only cracked open, and that the delivery driver opened all the way herself and then started recording, which, if true, would definitely make a difference. Edited November 17Nov 17 by Derka
November 17Nov 17 this is a very good example of a case where they are both wrong: - Obv, dude is wrong to leave the door open (a little or a lot) when having door dash delivery (my speculation is he likes being seen naked....cheap thrill) - DD girl is also wrong for posting the video of the guy and we are all wrong for watching any of that, or for caring even a little bit. keep your drama to yourself, don't try to be a social media star (or meteor)
November 17Nov 17 The female Doordash driver is in the wrong. Even if the door was wide open she still took video and posted it to the internet of a guy passed out naked in his own home on the couch. If she had a problem with it she should have called the cops, not taken video and posted it online. All evidence points to the door only being cracked open in which she would have had to go out of her way to see what was happening inside and then push the door open to get her video. Sounds like this girl wanted to be the victim and get a big payday out of it so she could stop doing Doordash and it has backfired on her.

From DoorDash somehow?

November 17Nov 17 Oh, she's definitely thinking of a wrongful termination angle. That guy may be a skeez but she went over the line. Sorry you got fired, honey. You deserved it.
November 17Nov 17 This is odd. If you work for DoorDash, it’s a completely stable career. Each and every delivery is completely normal. This poor girl probably works as a doctor during the day and has never been exposed to men with their pants down.
November 17Nov 17 Ok....so if we're gonna make "asking for food while you're not wearing any pants" a bad thing, let's not share that new rule with my wife, okay?

He was asleep. In his own home. And apparently without opening the door and looking around, no one could see him from outside his mostly closed door. If you can’t fall asleep on your couch after some ‘baitin and indica, why did the Founders even start this country?

November 17Nov 17 I cam easily believe either that the dude drunk ordered and passed out pants down, or that he hoped she’d peak in. But she didn’t have to peek in, could have just left the food, and could have just gone quietly to cops and managers. Running to TikTok always induces doubt.

I can also believe that her dumbass thought she was somehow violated by seeing the naked dude, and took a video to show her manager. But once you decide to post that image of a naked sleeping man on TikTok, you’ve jumped the shark and lost any potential support or empathy. Why is it as a culture we’ve lost the ability to reflect on, “what if somebody opened my door and saw ME asleep nude on a couch and published video of it on the Internet? Would I want that to happen to me.?” Exactly how difficult is it to reverse the situation and think for a second about your choices?

November 17Nov 17 Semantics, but nothing about that is sexual "assault". He seems like a drunk/high idiot (possibly perv) and she seems like an attention whore/drama queen. Both are likely getting what they deserve out of this situation.

It's the essence of modern society. also, this is the product of the commoditization of victimhood. gen z in particular (although no generation is immune) seems to wake up every day and hop out of bed and into a dead sprint to see who can be victimized the fastest and most egregiously. the way that this girl is screaming into her phone, “THIS IS A MAN’S WORLD, I AM THE VICTIM!!!!” so desperate for validation actually made me feel sad for her. she’s *so* focused on her own (mostly self created) victimhood that it’ll never occur to her that she could have handled this differently, and that living a life where you identify as a victim is no way to live at all. A first-time offender in that situation is prolly going to get probation and a fine when she pleads guilty. But true, pleading guilty to any felony has some consequences down the road.

November 17Nov 17 If the door really was wide open it's fucked up on his part even if he passed out jacking it after calling for door dash. But that doesn't justify publishing the video to the world. Take a photo/video and send to the authorities and to DoorDash. If they do nothing, go to the press, but don't publish the photos/videos. That's where she fucked up imo. Then when the delivery guy knocked on the door, they all thought it was the cops and ran out the back door to hide. Someone finally remembered the pizza and went back inside to get it. Which I’m guessing is why she was arrested and charged

November 18Nov 18 My understanding is she left and then came back, pushed the door open and looked in. Saw him dick out and took a video. She’s supposedly got 2 felony charges against her. She’s absolutely in the wrong.
