His highlights are mostly him running through gigantic holes at the LOS to the end zone. I, uh, don’t know how well that skill will translate at the next level. You watch a McCaffrey high school highlight tape or a Skatteboo one and you could tell they were freaks and would be special. This guy looks like Brett Robin 2.0 considering your expertise in prognostication, recruiting, and basically any other subject... I couldn't possibly be more excited about this pickup

LJ Martin, BYU’s current starting RB is also from El Paso. Steven Montez had a decent career at CU as a QB and spent 2 seasons on the Commanders practice squad a couple years ago.

Using his prediction history across the board on anything means that Walker will win a Heisman and be in the NFL Hall of Fame one day. Skattebo was, as anyone with a semi-functioning brain could tell you, not recruited by anyone of note. He earned everything he has received because he kept getting better. Skattebo loves contact and although Walker’s films do not show it, when he took contact on runs he would carry some guys with him. I watched every game from his sophomore year since Lampasas broadcast all of them on their YT channel and he would take hits and keep his legs moving even with a tackler on him. The thing he has never really done is catch passes out of the backfield. Not in his bag so to speak.

But even if Walker never starts for us and ends up with Robin's career averages of 4.7 and 9.4 yards per rush and reception, respectively, that's not a wasted scholarship. You need one of those guys around.
November 24Nov 24 He's a #2 RB take. Whatever. It's irrelevant if OL recruiting continues to be a shit show.

Not the most impressive list, but not deserving the scorn shown earlier.

Both IT & OTF seem to be talking up that UT is recruiting size at RB as part of the solution to fix the running game & redzone offense woes that UT has had these last couple seasons.
