fat lady is warming up. Brian Hartline needs to move on

Greenspoint.
Michigan maybe gets 2 more field goals but it’s over now.

It's over in Pittsburgh too now with Miami up 31-7 late third quarter.

Michigan-Ohio State is a great rivalry and among the best for the reasons naija mentions. I think it has a strong case for the #2 historic CFB rivalry.

But no home-and-home series could ever come close to Texas-OU. That game and environment is like nothing else. The 50/50 crowd split, the mutual pilgrimage to the near geographic midpoint, the antiquated stadium surrounded by a preposterous carnival, and of course the history of bitterness and cross-pollination just set that game apart as one-of-a-kind.

There's a very clear top 4 and there are arguments for all of them as #1 - although Navy/Army is kind of its own thing since that game is never actually relevant nationally.

I think Michigan and Ohio State hate each other more than Texas and OU do. And the neutral-site Cotton Bowl game is as classic as it gets - but there is something to be said for the home-and-home. You get nastier crowds and gut-punch losses when you lose at home.

It's also a dynamic ranking. Texas/OU was 100% the best rivalry during the 2000s. I think Michigan/tOSU has been the best rivalry in the 2020s. And Bama/Barn is always crazy (and was probably the best game in the 2010s).

What I wouldn't stand for is anyone trying to vault some bullshit like Domer/SC or Georgia/Florida above any of those four games.

they would have to display some offensive prowess they haven't shown yet. yeah, it's not over but it's close. they need a score this quarter.

Sherrone Moore will definitely be on the hot seat next year.

Sharone Moore running this Iowa imitation of Jim Harbaugh’s power offense isn’t going to last long.

I agree with all this.

They hate each other far more than OU and Texas do and neutral site games are more of a party whereas a road game has some hate.

That game has never interested me in the least. It’s always irrelevant and happens after all the meaningful games wrap up. Army-Navy gives post-season all-star game vibes, minus the all-stars.

yeah beating A&M at Kyle is different but beautiful nonetheless.

There is a hate between states that is ingrained from day 1. they consider themselves equal as states.   also, lots of Texas kids and OOS kids on the dirt burglar team.  spitballing because I haven't looked at rosters but my guess is the Mich and OSU rosters probably have players from their own state.

Texas and OU is college/university rivalry mainly, especially on the Texas side because there are multiple other major universities in Texas

there will be some shenanigans at the end of the game.

Ohio State’s OLine teabagged Michigan that whole drive.

I think that even the ghost of Bo Schembechler thinks this is over now.

Where is Stallion when you need him?

This drive is so methodical.

20 plays, 80 yards, 12 minutes….

Jeez

How much security and police will be on the field for that?

I'm thinking a lot.

they just let the mascot put an X over the M. it's not like it was a small X either.

up to the coaches to see it coming at the end of the game and squash it.

this is one of those beatings that is actually worse than the score looks

I'm thinking the security and police start forming up at the 2:00 time out.

If Michigan had won, it would have probably been worse.

Fans might have stormed the field and such.

see? it's up to the coaches. security can't get on the field before the game is over

It'll be a race to midfield logo to barricade it

Only if Michigan instigates.

Of course, I mean after the game, you would think OSU has that flag planting thing on the brain.

no doubt they do. Ryan Day has to have some plan of pulling his team or something as it draws to an end. more to lose for him. best scenario is the Ohio State offense keeps the ball and kneel formation as the game ends

no chance of a mercy TD given by Ohio St. to Michigan correct?

Michigan didn’t want this smoke. They are like Aggy, average team that avoided all of the top teams in their conference until today.

Because if the final score is the current score, I am feeling very good about our chances.

All I can think of is Woody Hayes when he was asked why OSU went for two after a touchdown in a runaway game against Michigan.

He replied because I couldn't go for three.

I think we need a little more help.

LSU or Auburn somehow winning would be great.

If only OU was as bad as we assumed months ago.  Them cheating for that auburn win really did wonders

The refs give a lot of leeway to both teams' shenanigans. These players are coddled in this game.

yup.

This has ugly written all over it when this game ends, OSU going to let out years of frustration against Michigan.

They do need to get a handle on it.

Much easier in the Big Ten. 18 teams, 2 good teams and 1 team starting a dyanstic multi-year NC run.

Nobody on this OSU team has beaten Michigan unless they are a fifth year senior.

here we go. kneel and walk off.

Michigan players look like they are waiting for OSU players to try something.

They are guarding the logo at midfield.
