December 3Dec 3 Regardless of whether or not he pans out, big props to Chris Stewart for never backing off his commitment in literally a year and a half. Dude never looked back. Yeah, he took official visits, but there was never any drama. Here's to him working hard and balling out Edited December 3Dec 3 by William Bludworth

December 3Dec 3 I could understand going to UNC if you were native there, but a kid from bama voluntarily going to to that dumpster fire with no positive outlook in the near future is very strangeÂ

It used to be Christmas after Christmas, and now it's just...I dunno. Good? I mean, unless we pull some shenanigans and fuck someone else over for an elite recruit, it's basically looking at our class but with a green 'signed' next to it. Other than hoping for 1-2 flips we didn't see coming it's basically been made inert. We should be happy we landed some studs like Dia Bell, Samaria Matthewa, Tyler Atkinson, Jermaine Bishop, Richard Wesley, James Johnson, Nic Robertson, and hopefully Corey Wells signs, and Derek Cooper (although I wish we would have gotten Ezavier Crowell, as I believe he's more primed to be ready for next season than Cooper, but I hope I'm wrong). Our HS WR recruiting this season is uh, less than optimal, unless Bishop plans to play both O and D. Even then it's not great, even if he's a stud. I like Chris Stewart, but I don't think he's the next low four-star to high three-star Malachi Toney stud out of nowhere. Same with Kohen Brown. We don't have much in terms of DT or IOL other than Turntine (who's not even close to beijg ready, and probably won't be for another 2-3 years) and Robertson, unless you think Kaden Scherer will be good (I don't), and if we just land James Johnson we are in trouble because Carlton will take at least 2 years to add the proper weight needed to play inside, and he's probably more of a 3 tech or 5 tech. Landing just 1 actual DT is negligence, and two IOL is not great, Bob. We're gonna have to once again load up in the portal, except this time it will have to be for a shit ton of players, the most being IOL, DT, TE, and I'm sure Sark won't pass up on an elite WR, and I suspect we will take 1-2 every portal cycle no matter what. But the key is to make sure Flood isn't fucking retarded and can evaluate ready to play OL. If he screws that up for Arch's last season, he should be fired in October. What good is it to keep a moron around if by October, again, we look inept, lethargic, and pussy whipped? Edited December 3Dec 3 by William Bludworth
December 3Dec 3 Turntine could be used as an in-line TE until he gains 30-50 lbs.  Jester’s cafeteria works your magic.Â

OL is it. We better fucking get some. All in all I figure Sark's earned a step back class (ranking). I'm surprised / happy to see so little vagina-rubbing (Jinx).

Reportedly there's a major family illness issue going on as well, so maybe that's a factor in the draw of extra $.Â

Yea, I hadn’t been following during the season but saw on the fb board a couple times that recruiting was a disaster. Initial glance today it looks….fine? Certainly not Sarks usual standard but seems we are preparing to hit the portal like a motherfucker for a run next season so maybe the resources were slightly limited.

Seems fine to me with OL being the exception. Really excited about Bishop and Atkinson.Â

If Wells flips the DL looks a little shaky with Johnson coming off an injury (probably not a big deal as he can redshirt/recover next season). Losing Cleveland and Wells means no 0/1 tech type DL for this class.

Yeah, me too (regarding vag rubbing) as no one seems too concerned with being outside the top 5 (I'm not). But yeah, we better not just load up on OL in the portal, we need those mf'ers to be actual starter-level, and not 5 guys from Maine, UC-Davis, Texas St, La -Monroe. I understand it's hard to get starters on the OL in the portal, but that's what tampering and backchanneling is for. They have an opportunity to block for the #1 (possibly) overall pick. It worries me that Sark/Flood won't get off their asses and get it done and just go with Kibble, a-pro ACL tear Chatman, and Cojoe.Â

Fireable offense if not.
December 3Dec 3 16 minutes ago, Hank_Hill said: Oregon had 2 starters transfer from Nevada and Texas state. All about evals. OK, you know what I mean. Oregon also has a superior OL coach, too. If Flood can evaluate and develop out of the portal then it's just pussy rubbing, but it's a large task to ask, and while it's not impossible, it's hard af. I don't exactly have a lot of faith in Flood at the moment. Mainly due to stupidity in recruiting and the first half of the season, but it's warranted. We are barely average for most of the line (IOL). Campbell has done a good job, but Hutson and Robertson are absolute asswater. If Cruz can't be better than Robertson next season, we are in a world of shit. I just don't see anyone on the current roster other than (hopefully Neto, whom I do not believe is worse than Hutson or Stroh). But we'll see. Sark has to know this is his open door opportunity to get to that next step after what has happened this season. We have a generational QB just waiting for competent OL play. If he's doing an upward trajectory with this IOL blocking, imagine what he can do with Oregon's line. Dante Moore looks absolutely nothing like he did at UCLA. I had no idea he could run. None. My jaw hit the floor seeing he's actually athletic and Chip Kelly coached him and made him look like his legs were just glued on. Now we'll see how Oregon looks without Will Stein now that he's at Kentucky. 1 minute ago, mwaadeeb said: I cannot believe, in a rational world, a situation where we can't land one or two mid-level draft pic IOL guys who want more exposure, to play with Arch / hang in Austin, while going for a ring and improving their draft stock and earning about as much money.
