December 4Dec 4 Curious as to what some of the companies you all have been eye balling or investing in and feel strongly about for 2026 and beyond. Expecting the typical surly replies…but let’s see your picks. For those of you who get my newsletter you’ll recognize mine: RDDT TSLA GOOG I am also watching the quantum computing sector closely.
December 4Dec 4 I'm still bullish on Alphabet because a) they aren't getting broken up during the current admin and b) they are monetizing AI in a way that's going to become increasingly clear the others cannot do so yet. Not sure if this is a 2026 impact, but I'm long-term bearing on Meta because it has nowhere to grow and I think ultimately the end user recognizes the product has social harms. I liken it to a Diageo or Constellation Brands, in that consumer tastes are shifting away from it not because of policy changes but consumer preference for something healthier. Also, parents are going to continue to push for later adoption of mobile devices and it's absence in schools, and this later adoption I think will help disconnect successive generations from habitual social media engagement (it'll still be huge, just less so). I'm a little bearish on Amazon, too, but I think the market already recognizes they are struggling to grow revenue. Maybe even more than Meta, there's also some externalities that Amazon has exploited and that make them far more exposed to policy changes (like the tariffs, but also product fraud, huge amounts of product waste, very capable management in direct competitors, etc.)
December 4Dec 4 i put a bunch of money in PBR, the Brazilian national oil company. i'd made a bunch of money with them in the past but it slowed in 2025. but even in their slowed state they still pay good dividends. so the price is on the lower end of where they hover right now. seems like a good balance between making money and providing a floor of having money very distant from AI if this bubble explodes.
December 4Dec 4 I’m in on GOOGL, although it was a much better buy earlier this year. But of the big 7 I think it has the most realistic chance of increasing in value. CVS could potentially be a good medium term play. Again, was a better buy earlier this year. I’m bearish on banks, crypto, META, and TSLA. It may not be this year but at some point in the next 2-5 years fast food (MCD) and healthcare service providers (maybe UNH, ELV) are going to see big margin increases. But most importantly, I don’t know shit about fuck.

December 4Dec 4 I've held onto AAPL, GOOG, AMZN since 2013 and they have not disappointed. At this point, I'm still bullish on AMZN because of AWS which will continue to grow. Plus they are dabbling into healthcare. I consider their existing marketplace like a WMT and not an area of continued growth. AI is not going away so I'm staying put on my small positions on NVDA and TSMC. Good points on META. I'll liquidate my 45 shares and dump it into some AI company or fund.

I dined inside a recently remodeled McDonalds in Lockhart last week and never interacted with a human being. Agentic AI will dramatically reduce admin staff over the next handle of years. They will also continue to be able to erode credentials for practicioners and can capture part of those savings.
December 4Dec 4 I use QQQM and SCHG as my anchor funds for now- I don't think I could pick just one company/stock. Going to start using MAGS as my main fund in my HSA. It's an etf like the two above but covers only the magnificent 7, which makes up 50% of what every growth etf already does today, just 100% in this one. Edited December 4Dec 4 by StassneyHorn

I still hold 9000 shares of IBRX in the off chance the current administration (with a Secretary of Health and Human Services that views medicine and health with a different perspective than his predecessors) might be willing to approach beating cancer with a drug and treatment that would make chemo and radiation therapy obsolete….flying in the face of conventional medicine. If I wasn’t as stubborn as hammered iron, I’d sell IBRX and put half that money in EOSE and the other half in UUUU and have a nice return on that cash a year from now.

I dined inside a recently remodeled McDonalds in Lockhart last week and never interacted with a human being Not a regular McD diner but will drive-thru every month or so in a pinch mostly because kids like it. Some time in the summer decided that I would go in to order because I needed to use the bathroom. This particular McD has completely eliminated any staffed checkstands. Only a stainless shelf area for Uber Eats pickups and self order kiosk. I did try to interact with the kid shuttling food to the pickup area because our order took about 20 min versus the 5 or less it would have through the drive-thru. No idea what that anecdote sample means in regards to how many McD stores have been modified to that configuration but they are certainly already taking labor out

I'm long SOUN.

There was a pretty awesome failure of those a couple days ago - the remote operator removed their headset and the robot copied the movement and turned off and fell over lmfao jkwyhkdzny5g1CMAF_480.mp4 Edit: It's from this Blue sky skeet https://bsky.app/profile/jjvincent.bsky.social/post/3m7hps4h2x22r Edited December 8Dec 8 by Captainant

December 16Dec 16 I am 94% VFORX, 2% VEU, and 4% silver. In 2026 I hope to make drastic changes: 94% VFORX, 2% VEU, 2% silver, and 2% gold. Not sure if 7.62x39 spam cans are an asset class, but there is a guy in SA with like 12 cans and I am tempted.
December 16Dec 16 Author 2026 is likely a very good year for cannabis stocks. Serious pumping now anticipating executive order. TLRY, VFF, CGC are three I’m holding.
