December 6Dec 6 Tech is a good team. Probably as good as all but the top three or so. We’ll see how the matchups shake out but they can certainly win a playoff game. Frustrating thing for us is that the teams ranked 4-15 are all pretty close.

December 6Dec 6 Sark should go on national tv and say "you idiots had BYU ahead of us despite a terrible schedule and no quality wins, dont you think you missed that one". then wait until they give a legit answer

December 6Dec 6 There were people seriously trying to argue coming into this game that the Big 12 deserved to have 2 teams in.

BYU has a nice team but wouldn't fare well in the SEC. What makes Texas, Vandy and Miami intriguing is the fact they have the talent to at least give anyone in the land a tough game. Never mind their floor — their ceiling makes them dangerous. Texas in particular has shown this.

December 6Dec 6 My 6 Tech CFP-RSVPs I got for $24 each are looking good right now. But still not enough to offset the cost of the 6 I got for Texas. Edited December 6Dec 6 by UTexasFight

December 6Dec 6 It's a tough draw. If TTech was closer to normal, or BYU losses one of the wacky tiebreakers and finishes 11-1, then they probably both go to the playoff. The Big12 had a number of wins over the ACC so they probably are the #3 conference.

What makes Texas, Vandy and Miami intriguing is the fact they have the talent to at least give anyone in the land a tough game. Never mind their floor — their ceiling makes them dangerous. Texas in particular has shown this. They’d be a solid 7-5 because they field physical teams. They’d beat the bottom half. The top half is way too athletic (no racist) for them to compete.

I’ll give you UF but I think they beat you at the swamp just based off jimmys and joes. are you thinking you would stand a chance against OSU or UGA? OU would probably cripple fight you to death. Pavia would probably pass/run for 600 yards on you. Aggie would probably beat you. SEC won 13 of the 20 MNCs prior to us joining, and while we hated them then and now, there really isn’t a doubt it’s the deepest conference top down after taking UT and OU. NFL draft picks tell the tale, SEC 79, B1G 71, ACC 42, B12 31, AAC 6. You’re closer to AAC than SEC or B1G.

They have scored exactly 14 pts in 2 games against that team; but won every other game on their schedule, with a minimum output of 24 pts. LJ Martin has 129 yards rushing on the season, but in 2 games against Tech, he has 93 yards rushing, total. Seems pretty damned productive against everyone else. Weird.
