I know pavia is mad being 31 and losing to a bunch of kids.  But fuck man you’re an adult go get a job

Dude will absolutely be in politics after his football career.

Full ass pull for Indiana in the playoffs.

Me too. That was one of the most inspiring humble and honest speeches for this award I’ve heard. Good for him. He’s a good egg.

I just commented in the Washington/Boise State thread that his face reminds me of a young Ted Cruz. Mostly the nose, but he wears a natural sneer. He definitely has the personality of a politician/networker.

Indiana hit the fucking lottery two years in a row. Hit the lottery with The Cig and now number one seed with Heisman winner. Also What a crazy time to make their presence known in the Big 10! With all the fuckery happening and new coaches Indiana could be in the catbird seat for a couple of years. Plus That award is worth so money much not only to the individual but to the school. Plenty of money they will have now for top recruits and portal players. Makes me ragey VY and Colt and our school were robbed of it. Damn.

Look I'm not one of those "voters should publish and justify their ballot" freaks like they have in baseball and I get it that the Maxwell Club is much different from the Heisman Trust and its voters BUT I have to wonder how the Heisman runner up wasn't even a finalist for the Maxwell Award.

Well, it's actually Paul, but your kindness is duly noted.

Laughing emoji because that's the proper level of hate for  an in-conference foe that your squad thoroughly throttled.

I hope he doesn't get into that cesspool. Seems like too good of a human to wade into that.

Kansei didn’t win the Lou Groza award, but he’s a first team All-American which seems to be a nicer accomplishment. He’s the first one to make the first team in the history of Hawai’i football. Really happy for the young fella.

Defensive back — Bray Hubbard, Alabama, junior, 6-2, 213, Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

Punter — Ryan Eckley, Michigan State, junior, 6-2, 207, Lithia, Florida.

So, now Taaffe, a former walk-on, is a two-time All-American. But that's still not good enough to win the Burlsworth Trophy?

Fuckin' toothless Arkie trashholes.

The infatuation with the Aggy EDGE and his 29 tackles is laughable

Ruben Bain, John Henry Daley, Colin Simmons are all better. Not even a question.

He had 8.5 sacks in conference and 9.5 TFLs

Colin had 9.5 sacks in conference and 12 TFLs and that is s a superior conference schedule.

Low # of tackles means he's not making that many plays on stretch plays or in the run game.

I will say one thing for Howell, though, having 6 PD as an EDGE is impressive. Those are DB numbers.
