Taking the family up there next month.  Anyone been?  Any activities or particular restaurants you recommend there?  Worth going into Branson at all?

Are you staying in the lodge or a cabin? I’ve stayed there several times and have always had a good time. Sunday Brunch at the Worman House is really good if you are staying through the weekend. I always enjoyed watching a game at Buzzard Bar and having a few drinks.

Been there three times. A family favorite. The lake is the main attraction (owned by bass pro shops) so boat rentals, fishing are high on the list. The fall colors should be ramping up over next few weeks. Dogwood canyon is nice, esp if kids are younger because paved walking through the park. If kids are older, might look for a more undeveloped hike. We never went into Branson.  There's not a lot of canned activities if I recall, but a great place to be outdoors with the family. Have a great time.

Played Branson Creek last time out there, now I think its called Buffalo Springs and owned or run by BCL (johhny morris) Its a nice Fazio layout and again the fall colors should make it a pretty special outing. Dont know enough about other golf options to comment. The par 3 course at Top of the Rock was pretty fun if I recall.
