December 12Dec 12 Looking forward to meeting many of you assholes on October 17. My typing figures to God‘s eyes that will both be highly ranked enough for the game to be important.

I'd say about 90% of my closest friends are grads from either school. When living there for 20 years, my dream was to see Texas play in Neyland.

I'm not revealing my go tos cause greed is good.

My wife went to HS in Knoxville and hasn't been back since as her parents moved back to Texas while she was in college, so we are going and taking the kids. She keeps up with a handful of friends that are big TN fans so should be fun.

A) A lot of the hotels haven't opened yet. (Dunno about AirBnBs/VRBO) B) Book hotels and flights early arrive early on Friday. I40 becomes an ABSOLUTE mess on Friday and Sunday. I mean, parking lot mess.

December 12Dec 12 I just looked and Marriott has a couple of choices right now. Downtown seems sold out

This, for Hilton, I called because my preferred place wasn't available and I wanted to see if there was a wait list. Booking for Hilton's downtown opens 6 months prior. So if Marriott is the same it will be week of April 13th. You're welcome.

I'm a Hilton guy too but was too lazy to actually call them and inquire about this, so thanks for that. (In Knoxville I prefer the Cumberland House or the Graduate). Got a VBRO booked just in case (but it is not as close to downtown as I prefer).

But yeah Cumberland House is my go to, but parking is goofy.

December 12Dec 12 All of this Knoxville hotel talk while good is burying the fact that Ole Miss and F1 are on the same weekend so act accordingly.
