BOOM MOTHER FUCKER - Will Muschamp's Triumphant Return

Featured Replies

Did PK do something illegal or not get along with Sark? He was without question more successful than Sark as a coordinator the past 3 years.

Yeah, that's the part I really don't understand.  He definitely did not deserve to be fired.  I know Sark had initially planned to hire Muschamp for his first DC, but it fell through because his family didn't want to move.

Wow.  Glad to see PK gone.  Although I would have guessed it was for a HC job.

Holy shit, firing Kwiatkowski can’t possibly be performance related.

Maybe PK forced Sark to call those retarded plays in the red zone at Columbus that lost us the game and kept us out of the playoffs.

Being DC the entire time here probably made things stale. We needed some fresh blood in coaching. Wish that one of these moves were on offensive side too but it ain’t over yet I’m sure.

There is no clear logic that I can come up with regarding this choice. I just hope PK doesn't end up in the SEC and he WILL get offers.

Maybe PK called out Sark in his offseason and Sark got thin-skinned and fired him? $9.95 please

Twitter people are says he's probably going to USC.

HUH??? Just about the only consistent thing they had the last couple of years was the defense bailing out Sark and co when the offense went to sleep. What happened??

He was really good at fucking up a lot of teams, but OU and Aggie were his strongest.

That’s retarded. Why would he leave GT as a coordinator? Lmao

This move doesn't make much sense? If anything whoever the offensive coordinator is should be toast. Oh wait....

PK was the source of the Sark rumors.  (I'm kidding and just totally making shit up)

The USC rumor comes up every offseason, but maybe it is true this time.

PK is Nicole's source. In return, PK is safe on Rainey Street at night.

Maybe, but why announce it as a firing?

Ready for Burton to give us the scoop that it was a mutual decision in contrast to all evidence saying otherwise.

"I meant the other coordinator!" - CDC, probably

i don't write so good

Not for nothing, but if we miss the playoffs next year it might be time to consider bringing PK in as head coach. This is nuts.

Better question is why the fuck isn’t he our new coordinator.

I like the hire. Muschamp is always been successful as a DC so hope he still has it and brings a lot of that fire he has on the sideline.

I have no problem with the hire. It's the change that is baffling.

My hope is that Flood has not been let go yet because Sark wants to make sure his buddy has a soft landing spot.

what the actual fuck, PK has been awesome and handled the entire side of the ball.

I love Muschamp and all, but I would love an explanation on how this a remotely sensical move to FIRE PK. over what ?

Please give me the sunshine reason it’s good that PK is gone because the defense was leagues better than our offense this year. Also, our defense was on the field 75% of the game in many cases because of our offense stubbing their toe over and over.

Sark playing chess not checkers. Muschamp will be scapegoat next year.

It's sort of like TexAgs with everybody thinking they know enough to make a judgment on why PK was fired.  We have no idea. But we make shit up.

Because Muschamp is better???

What the Actual Fuck....  What in the hell is going on.

However, I reserve the right to update this next season if we get the Boom! Motherfucker version of Muschamp.

He’s an okie, one of the cool ones

doesn't USC have a stud defensive coordinator already?

He's a Sooner, smart guy. That's why he's happy.

This is weird as fuck. Get rid of your top-tier DC for a guy who hasn't been one in 10 years...

Happy to have Muschamp back on the 40, but this is so crazy to me. PK’s conservatism pissed me off at times, but our offense has been a way bigger issue than our defense in important games under Sark for the most part. Flood, Milwee, and Chris Jackson should all be on fucking notice.

I’d also love a commitment to not recruiting linebackers too short to ride all of the coasters at six flags.

Someone find the cartoon with the ‘Boom’ as a lower back tat on Muschamp.  It has risen yet again.

We need a new OC, OL, WR and RB coach as well as a new GM and our best, most consistent part of the team under Sark's tenure just got cut. There isn't any way to spit shit this when Muschamp has been announced as PK's replacement.

He's getting PSU reports though and went to school there
