Ben Johnson is the real deal. If he can truly coach Caleb it will be a special team. Or Ben going to murder him.

I don’t want Arch to wind up on some of these shithole teams.

I hope so. I’m hopeful but got my heart ripped out too many times.

Understood man. We are on a Horn centric site. We are all a little delusional. Once MNC in basically half a century but we front like we have as many as Saban did at LSU/Bama in recent years. We don’t stop caring tho. Bears are for real under Johnson. It’s all a matter of how it works with Caleb bc at some point it will either be like a Mahomes/Reid thing or Johnson will go QB shopping.

Josh Allen is the terminator.

Joe Burrow should demand to be traded. After all he has been thru injury wise and trying to make that shitty franchise great and give a fuck, assuming he doesn’t retire like Luck, he should demand to go somewhere that gives a fuck. It truly matters where you land.

love seeing Quinn get his chance to secure a spot for the future in the NFL.

He’s not blameless in why their roster, especially on defense is garbage.

So there was a near safety in the Bills-Browns game late in the first half. Turns out, to avoid a safety you just need a sliver of the ball out of the endzone / across the line to avoid it.

Pretty dumb, given that any sliver of ball in the endzone it's a TD. It should be any part of the ball in the endzone = safety.

So dumb the NFL still does the division winners get automatic top 4 seed.  do away with it like the NBA did. 8-7 winner of Carolina/TB shouldnt be hosting 11 win (so far) LA Rams.

Chris Myers is calling the most important game of the early window and could not sound less interested. The bizarro Gus Johnson.

Bills about to put this game away.

There's less variance with strength of schedule in the NBA.

Shedeur just has no awareness out there.

Oh fuck off Josh. That's just stupid.

not what i mean. NFL gives a seed to the top 4 to any division winner. Just because the NFC south sucks doesnt mean LA should be playing at the winners place in the wild card round after winning 3+ more games

Time to play boomer sooner again. Bakes throws a pick strike up the band

Saints probably have a better record since Drew retired if they had started Taysom every game.

Uh yeah - I read your comment. Teams in each division play each other twice as much as any other team and there are 18 teams that you won't play at all every season. Rewarding division winners is a control on that.

NBA schedules are much more analogous and it's a much larger sample size.

I don't disagree with your premise necessarily just saying that the NBA isn't really a good comparison.

NBA went away with divisions basically entirely outside of playing a guaranteed 4 games to nearby opponents.  Id guess theres too many  NFL rivalries that they'd never consider it. If carolina  hosts SEA, SF or LA despite CAR having 10 max wins while SF, LA or SEA could have 12-13 wins and all come from the same division while Carolinas next toughest division foe  is TB at max 9 wins, just something messed up about it.

The Falcons OL couldn't block me. And I definitely can be blocked.

Yeah, Bijan has been making them look way better than they really are for awhile now.  Lindstrom is the only standout they've got.  Bergeron is mid, Neuzil is mid, Matthews is old and shit now, and they're on their 3rd string RT who is a turnstile.

As with most of these things it can go both ways, though. You can play in a salty division and have a tough cross-division draw for that year and go 10-7 and then have to play on the road against a 2nd place 11-6 team that played an easy schedule.

You don't stop Jacoby Brissett. You only hope you can maybe contain him. But don't count on it.

well, at least they have a respectable amount of wins.

Vegas' OL would like a word.

Bijan doing all the work down the field and then finishing it with a TD!

Yeah but David Sills MCXIII needs his touches, too.
