Saturday at 11:45 PM4 days It is painfully obvious that Texas and Notre Dame being in these games would have made a much better product. Whatever it is we are doing it’s broken.

Saturday at 11:47 PM4 days It will be interesting to see how Tech does. Didn't they beat somebody really good like James Madison or Alfred E. Neuman U?

Agree, but the only real solution is to tell anybody not in the P4 to fuck off unless you have a team ranked in the top 12(and probably Notre Dame that they ahem need to join one of those P4 conferences). They won't, though and I suspect that will eventually lead to the SEC and B1G telling them all to fuck off and going and doing their own NFL style thing.
Saturday at 11:50 PM4 days Gotta be equitable. Gotta give everyone a shot to get in fuck merit right ND Texas even vandy makes this a game Edited Saturday at 11:51 PM4 days by Sgt Hulk
Saturday at 11:51 PM4 days Tune in real quick and saw the score. I knew this was gonna be a blow out. Tulane didn’t belong.
Saturday at 11:51 PM4 days 2 minutes ago, Vic Mackey said: Could Oregon still win if you spotted JMU a 35-0 lead to start? Yes. They would make it a game within a game. They would get it done in the first half
Saturday at 11:51 PM4 days I'm not sure that the JMU game will be worse. They were better than Tulane this season. Tulane was easily the most overrated team in the CFP rankings if you compare to solid computer systems. Now that doesn't mean that it won't get ugly, but JMU was the better team this season of those two.

No G5 team should ever be getting a bye in a 12 team playoff. Give them a home game in the 1st rd. Texas deserved a bye last year much more than Boise.
Saturday at 11:52 PM4 days When the commentators have resorted to explaining anti trust lawsuits to the audience to make excuses for why they have been subjected to this circus, you know you have lost the plot. This is pathetic.

They have to be selected in on their own merit. I don’t even want to talk about a fucking G5 team unless they are undefeated and they beat a legit P4 team in their non conference.
Saturday at 11:54 PM4 days You could have another rule: If, during the season, your conference champion didn't play (closely) a team ranked in the Top Ten at the end of the season, then the five conference rule doesn't apply to your conference.

Saturday at 11:56 PM4 days Part of the problem is that when they were concocting the rules for this shit and came up with the 5 highest rated conference champion autobid rule there were....5 "Power" conferences Edited Saturday at 11:57 PM4 days by Surly Bevo

Saturday at 11:58 PM4 days Wish broadcasters would call out the bs of having Tulane and jmu in playoffs. This is painfully clear no auto bids. I'm not opposed to going to top 8 teams. With to much $$$ involved it won't happen.
Saturday at 11:59 PM4 days I predict that they'll change the selection rules for next year. You heard it here first.
Sunday at 12:01 AM4 days The advertisers are probably happy. I for one can't wait until they play another bunch of commercials.
Sunday at 12:01 AM4 days Oh and intrigue met. Tulane has scored more on the road than aggy did at home.
Sunday at 12:01 AM4 days If and monumental Santa is real if. JMU wins over Oregon the playoffs will be forever fucked because that one time. But Oregon is gonna butt fuck them

Sunday at 12:10 AM4 days Fantastic work as always, CFP committee. Unwatchable garbage ass game - and the next one will be even worse
Sunday at 12:12 AM4 days Retard Booger saying Tulane was evidently outmatched. Yeah no shit dip shit.
Sunday at 12:13 AM4 days Fun tune up game for Mississippi. Oregon’s tune up game is next. Fuck this stupid ass college football committee. Just wasting everyone’s time with these games.

Jesse Palmer was rambling about cutting it down to only one non-P4 qualifier but that the one team that deserved to be it was Tulane….as Tulane was down 38 in the game he was calling.
