Looks like Calen Bullock will be the guy that caught Aaron Rodgers's last TD pass.

Remember that for trivia.

I fucking relish in watching Aaron Rodgers step on his dick. This is so great.

It’s what’s good in life.

This Jesus Christ guy Will Anderson keeps thanking knows how to call a defense.

Why didn’t any other team sign that dude to a D coordinator role?!

Pretty big oversight IMO.

He's going be yakking on ESPN constantly. I'd rather have him spend his time getting his ass kicked.

Who caught Staubach's last pass?

Steelers have a lot of shit to think about in this offseason.

Fuck it, bring back everyone and either just miss the playoffs or get blown out again in the WC round. Leave Tomlin zero excuses.

Azeez Al-Shahir sounds like he's auditioning for ESPN.

What a well-spoken, intelligent dude.

That whole D is just badass. Every time I watch the Texans and see them flash the lineup pregame I'm always amazed. Dogs everywhere at all 3 levels.

No idea. What's odd was as a kid I hero worshipped Staubach but have zero memory of him playing. I think he retired before I was in kindergarten. Still, I had posters of him on my wall as a kid.

I was a Danny White fan and I think I just transferred the Staubach love to White as a kid not realizing the two were not the same.

Then Jerry came along and turned my fandom into raging hot white hate.

Fuck the Cowboys!

I am pretty sure I met Herbert Scott at a sporting goods store in Mckinney one time, long after he retired. Nice guy, but not as impressive as the time I met Bob Lilly in El Paso.

30-6 and the offense didn’t do shit. Defense is as advertised folks. Good enough to replicate 2015 Broncos?…..remains to be seen

Maybe I could borrow Wade Phillips ring again as a talisman.

It was so so good tonight .

I’d pay a lot of money to watch a full day of football with Peyton, Eli and JJ

The hilarious part was Rodgers thinking he was going to make the tackle to prevent the TD and bouncing right off of Bullock

I am old enough to remember Franco Harris' "Immaculate Reception" dashing hopes. Watching us give the the ball three times early, was bringing back bad mojo memories most of the game. What a great fucking defensive game! Absolutely fantastic! And we ran the ball well. Gee seems like teams with great defenses and strong running games tend to do very well in playoff situations. Let's hope so!

All I know is it feels damn good waking up this morning. The three quarters of "we are going to lose a game we should win" mutherfucker muttering made the sweetness of the 4th quarter a giddy counterpoint. Still grinning. It's been a Loooonnnnnnggggg time since I felt this optimistic about a team from Houston in the playoffs. Which only means, it's a tease, to get my hopes up only so they can be dashed once again.

But damnit, I am grinning today and it feels good. Wish I knew more Cowboy fans to talk to today! ;-)

CJ Stroud: 1

Aaron Rodgers: 2

Houston beats Pittsburgh in the playoffs. Fucking finally!!!

For us oldsters who lived through the Luv Ya Blue era, any playoff win in Pittsburgh in this lifetime is pretty damn satisfying. The defense was absolutely extraordinary. This team can win any game left on the schedule. 😳

AFC is about as wide open as we have seen since Brady/Manning started their reign in the early 2000s. Your #1 seed is led by Bo Bix and Sean Payton. Your #2 seed is Drake Maye and Mike Vrabel. The #3 seed choked at the end. The #4 seed might have been the worst team to ever enter the playoffs.

For Josh Allen to finally get to the next level, this is the year.

For Houston, who have never made it past the divisional round as the Texans, this is also the year. Not one QB and offense left they should fear.

Also, this isn't the old days of fearing going on the road to face Belichik/Brady in NE. Or going into Denver to face Peyton Manning.

I think both road teams in the AFC this coming weekend are the better team than the home teams. Someone mentioned 2015 Denver as a comparison to this Houston team and I agree. Peyton was awful those playoffs but they didn't need him to be great. Stroud was awful last night but it didn't matter.

Stroud is the main thing standing in the Texans’ way. He’s the QB that should scare the Texans, tbh.

hopefully he got that out of his system. Whether it was the cold or what - maybe stay in Philly/NE and practice outside all week

I'd say that's true if the QB competition left in the AFC was better. With Houston's defense, they can smother any of the offenses left and allow Houston's offense have room for error. I'd imagine NE won't be as bad as Pitt was but if you watched them on SNF against LA, their offense wasn't anything to write home about, either.

You can’t have that many turnovers and expect to win a playoff game. I know the Texans defense is dominant but that was playing with fire

#240

Unless there are some upsets in the divisional round, there will be no domed football games in the NFL postseason

Chicago, Philly, Charlotte, Boston, Jacksonville, Pittsburgh

Seattle, Chicago, Denver, Boston

If any combo of the #1 and #2 seeds win - Denver (or Boston) and Seattle (or Chicago).

Super Bowl - Santa Clara

The only matchups that could end up indoors are #6 Buffalo @ #5 Houston (NRG) and #6 San Francisco @ #5 Los Angeles (SoFi)

He seems to have a slow processor, or at least not quick enough for an NFL high level starter. He botches snaps because he's still trying to read stuff and can't even concentrate on getting the ball in his hands. He makes a lot of bad decisions downfield. When he was going into the draft I thought he was mechanically really well built for the position, strong arm, accurate, powerful physique, everything physically you could ask for, but I never saw the spark, 3D thinking or creativity that would him an NFL qb. They better damn well have an elite D and running game to get far with him.

SoFi is not indoors. It’s open air with a canopy.

Sources: Tomlin to leave Steelers after 19 years

Mike Tomlin is stepping down as Steelers coach, sources told ESPN, ending a 19-year run in Pittsburgh during which he never had a losing season.

Damn, bad loss to go out on.

Yeah, I think the Texans are actually a good comp with the Jags, and the Jags went to Denver and smoked the Broncos. I'd rank em Bills, Texans, Broncos, Pats. Josh Allen is light years ahead of the three scrubs left for the other AFC teams.

If the Texans make it all the way, they'll have a date with LA or Seattle and I don't think they can beat either.

Texans = Jags? Texans and Broncos are more similar

Considering that game was 18-15

Yeah fine add Denver too. The comp was more good defense/lottery offense. Jags defense is good, but not on the level of Hou/Den, but I'd take Trevor right now over the other two, even with his brain farts.

That was the least important part of my post. Just saying I think Denver is overrated and Houston could beat them
