They didn't fire Khan at the same time Tomlin stepped down, sorry for @PittsburghTiger but it doesn't seem like things are going to change very much. Teams that draft in the middle can compete. That guy has no excuse.

Steelers/Cowboys were The Shit back in the day. Those bastards.

Kevin Colbert was a really good GM. Then they elevated Khan. I have stated here that Big Ben stayed around three years too many and that prevented the much needed rebuild. They could always say, "Ben will lead us through" without fixing any issues that were glaring in need of a fix. The defense, during camp, had the balls to say that they "could be legendary" this season. They are too expensive and too old. As much as I love how Cam Hayward has played during his career I would have cut him during his holdout. It's a business and he had just signed a huge contract. Honor that.

The offensive line has been garbage for a decade. No QB would have succeeded Monday night. Not Bradshaw, not Aikman, not Brady, not Ben. It was dreadful.

I've resigned myself to the fact that Art II is a businessman more than a football man. As are most, if not all, of the billionaire owners. They won't ever lose any money and, if they aren't serious about fixing the team I will not spend as much of my time worrying about them.

Do I want them to win? Of course but, it really doesn't matter.

Very often I find myself on Sundays during the fall taking the old cars out for a drive and just goofing around doing other things.

I think the Draft in The Burgh is in 98 days now.

won with some shitty qb 's. thats not being 'stale', that's making chicken salad out of chicken shit ...

  • Aaron Rodgers: A high-profile, late-season addition in 2025 who sparked a playoff run, noted for his strong connection with Tomlin.

Well right. Their team was chicken shit and they desperately needed a rebuild.

Rodgers was the QB the entire season, he wasn't some guy they brought in late to spark anything. And their last three games they lost to Cleveland, beat Baltimore on a fluke, and got destroyed by Houston. Some spark. They have been just a decent team with few prospects of getting better for years and years. It was time to shake things up. Seven straight playoff losses, and some of those were with BR.

their goal for 2026 is to go 0-18

get that #1 pick. it'll be a great year for qb's

We'll see. The Steeler Way will keep them from truly tanking.

That and they have the Browns in their division.

I agree that that should be their goal though.

The #Longhorns are hosting Wake Forest WR Sterling Berkhalter for a visit today.

Last season Berkhalter had 30 receptions for 426 yards and 2 TD. 🤘
