Wow.  Quite the flash back for me.

I played many hours of Starflight and Star Control in Jr High.  My friend and I had many sleep overs playing the game together, sharing the keyboard.  I remember having tons of notes on where to go, come back to, etc.

I am really enjoying the reboot.  I read the creator of Star Flight is working on a reboot too.  I didn't realize he also made Toe Jam and Earl.

It works well with a controller on my Shield TV, so I can play in bed (tedious game like before exploring planets and gathering resources.)

I would recommend it and I am hooked.  Not for everyone though.  It's right up my alley of a laid back game.

I spent so many sleepless nights playing the original. Waiting for the first few patches though.

I miss Demos.  I download and try many games from torrents and I pay for the ones I actually like, so there is a good copy on torrents.  I bought it after playing awhile.

Star Control II might be one of my favorite games of all time. The story was really good and it was also fun to melee against your friends. "Hold! What you are doing is wrong! Why are you doing this thing?" (Thats from memory, but I think I got it mostly right)
