the amount of boston fans talking down on harden and blaming the refs for throwing the game was INSUFFERABLE

i was at the game at TD garden and it was HORRIBLE

among the comments i heard:

  • "harden only scores cuz he gets fouls"
  • "yeah only harden is going to get those fouls"
  • "the refs are paid"
  • celtics airball: "BOOOO"

it was probably the worst experience i've had at a game w/r/t to experience of other fans. there were some nice dudes there, especially folks i chatted to at halftime. i live here and have been to multiple astros & texans visiting games but it's never been like this. i guess because either the pats are always winning or the red sox are always competing. it was my first taste of that extreme boston negativity.

Listening to Hubie wasn't much better. Every time Boston got it down to 15 pints, Hubie got excited again.

Boston fans are the biggest cunts in all of sports. One of the things I savored the most about the Astros WS victory was beating the Red Sox along the way. The worst experience I had was with Duke fans at MSG while watching them play the Horns back in the mid 2000s. Closest I ever got to getting into a fight at the game. My hate for Duke basketball is right up there with my hate for Boston teams.

We need the Manimal and Shump in action tonight. Raps coming off an unacceptable OT loss and gonna be hungry for the win at him.

Oh and fuck Drake. Pussy ass bitch. I wish Kendrick Perkins pulverized him when he talked shit to him from the bench.

Looking at the remaining schedules for the Rockets, TrailBlazers and Thunder, the Blazers clearly have the least difficult schedule down the stretch.  The Rockets and Thunder are very similar.  Could go up as high as 2 or low as 6.  Just keep getting healthy

2 feels a bit too optimistic unless they somehow win both of their next 2 (i'm hoping for a split), but they can definitely finish anywhere from 3-6.

i don't give a shit about any team besides the warriors so wherever they need to end up to avoid them until the WCF is good with me.

I think Houston at 3 or 6 is better than 4 or 5 for that very reason.

Rockets playing really well with Harden on the bench in the 2nd. Having CP3 and Capela back healthy is really helping Gordon get some open catch and shoot looks. He is playing a lot better.

Tucker's defensive assignments are from hell or worse -- guard Embid, guard Kawhi, guard Lebron, every night  the best in the world. He earns his $$ , no contest.

for those close to the salary cap theory -- how easy would acquiring a badass 6-10 to 7 foot tough guy. Not necessary an offensive force, just an old school tough guy power forward. I like the bigs so far with Cap, Faried and old Nene, but would Faried isn't tall and Nene is aging.  Someone with the size and build of a Jericho Sims, NBA caliber.

You could definitely get Kendrick Perkins for vet minimum
my god some of these foul calls...

Bad. But blown 18 point lead in less than 10 minutes, bad? Nah.

not sure if serious.  I'd rather take Andrew Bynum.  Hell, i'd rather get some tough 6'9 guy from prison on furlough.

Keep Chris Paul healthy, and Rockets could make it interesting in the NBA West Finals.....

2 rounds before that and neither are a given.

OKC is gonna lose, and Portland is in a close one with Memphis. Could be tied for 3rd seed at the end of the night.

Tucker is insane.  Team is playing at a championship level right now.

it's Surly, no one can be trusted.

just a fantastic win.  especially after they gave up the huge lead in the 3rd quarter.

Not often you get outscored in a quarter and win by 12. Nice job by the bench after not showing up in Boston

Big ups to Nene.  Guy has played his ass off tonight.

I've been liking the 3 baskets he's good for in recent games.

Rockets are 3rd right now due to ... I have no idea.

Rockets are 1-2 against Portland and OKC.

must be record against the conference.  rockets are best among the 3 in that regard.

OKC at Portland tomorrow. That is good news for the Rockets who don't play until Friday. The Thunder also play again on Friday (the Clippers in LA), so I won't be surprised if they drop at least one of the two. Ideally, OKC beats Portland and loses to LAC the next night and of course the Rockets keep winning.

28-11, 2nd best record in the league since their 11-14 start. Still not 100% healthy, but as long as Paul, Harden, and Capela are there, the Rockets will be a tough series.

Rockets lead the Southwest Division. I think division winner gives you higher seed as tiebreak. OKC and Portland trail Denver in the Northwest Division.

They got rid of that rule a few years ago. It goes by record now.

considering GSW are getting blown out at home a lot, it's not crazy to dream the impossible /jinx

Rockets sending Gary Clark to the G league. Are they trying to make room to add someone? If so, any ideas who?
