He should be gone and Morey should be on notice. He's responsible for the construction of this team.

uh, anyone going to try to stop Curry from getting the ball?

Home court adv against the warriors in 2018, and we lose. Durant goes down in 2019 and we lose. There’s really no reason for me to emotionally invest in the Rockets in 2020 knowing what’s inevitable. I’m out

Did the Warriors win when Mark Jackson was coaching the Warriors with pretty much the same roster? Yeah that's what I thought.

You have Harden, Paul, Tucker, and Capela. Everyone else is expendable. This group needs a different approach coaching wise, D'Antoni just isn't an playoff coach. Shortens his bench, when he should have used everyone. Pissed off Faried, that the dude left. I just can't believe the guy is this bad at coaching in the playoffs.

It does when an undersized team whips your ass on the boards, because you are consistently letting your big play 30' from the basket.

Did anyone honestly think before the season started that this roster was a championship team?  They actually ended up having a better season than expected.  Time for the front office to step up this offseason.

Capela might be expendable if this is how he's going to be in the playoffs every time.

Why is anyone surprised we lost? This is status quo with the type of ball we play with Harden and our coach. It’s great for the regular season but totally unsuitable for playoff basketball.

This one hurts, man.

It does, Harden and co don’t have the killer instinct needed to put a great team away.

How do the Rockets upgrade with the current salary situation?

He sure doesn't and his body language is terrible.

Probably.

Lost the game in the first half really

Lost this game in the 1Q, when they allowed the scrub Warriors to get rebound after rebound.

Use the MLE to bring in another player like Tucker. Try to keep Rivers and bring in a couple of cheap vets who want to play on a good team. Figure out something for Capela to do when teams stop the lob game in the playoffs.

Who's gonna take that contract on a guy who shoots 50% from point blank range?

Fuck it.

GO ASTROS!

that and 5 missed free throws by harden just sucked the life out of everything

I hope that's possible. But D'Antoni just did Faried dirty this series when the guy was playing his ass off through the first round of the playoffs.

Maybe some team that's in rebuilding mode? Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane. Matter of fact, Jane plays better than Capela in the playoffs.

Capela has to get a 10' jump shot.

What vets want to come play in this dumpster fire? Vets do it to win at places like Golden state. Not the iso harden ball rockets.

he should start with layups and work his way out

Not giving House Green’s minutes was coaching malpractice.  Can anyone explain how he could possibly have been worse?

House and Faried had proven they were top 7 rotational guys throughout the regular season and both get replaced by Shumpert and Green. D'Antoni needs to be fired. He can't see beyond his own arrogance.

House had a foot injury if we are to believe the Rockets front office.

And the funny thing is that when he coached the Suns, D'Antoni was all about ball movement. My how things change.

Steph with 33 points in the 2nd half. Wish we had an MVP caliber player like that in the clutch.

I mean, Rivers and Faried both just came to this dumpster fire mid season.

Golden boys win it all again. Huge surprise. The NBA is a joke

And based on their play, they'll probably get picked up by other teams and likely do well for them.

hey, the silver lining is I bet we win the actual outcome per the upcoming officiating audit.

Bring back Van Gundy.

Poor guy never had consistently healthy starters and had zero bench.

Probably best we lost tonight anyways to save us from a 30 point blowout loss Sunday afternoon in prime time.
