sanchez is determined to be the hero rather than just letting the AB come to him.

leave the bat on your shoulder and you'd be on first base and walked in another

Wow, great play to end it

replay makes these situations so anti-climactic.  didn't even look that close.  great play by pearce.

Well, it was supposed to be the best two teams at this point... bring on the Astros!

That’s a date sir
wow he missed a real mistake by kimbrel.

Odds Helo still blew his load the second it cam off his bat?

Didn't watch a second of the series (Take that, MLB prime time gerrymandering!)  What happened to CiCi's Seebuffeta?

Hes 39 and in the tail end of his career.   Yankees need starting pitchers and an ace that isn't 39 and at the tail end of his career.

This season was nuts.... was bound to end in a bit of heartbreak for either team.  The Sox were just the better team pretty much for the duration.

That said, fuck Boston in every way.

And I never mind a chance to be a 'Stros fan for a few weeks.

Bring on the stros.

Also:  Craig Kimbrel, let's never do that again.  I'm visibly older this morning.

Weird night last night. I was intermittently checking on the game from an ER room at the hospital, had a close relative in there from a heart complication. He turned out fine for now, but they were wheeling by patients coming in off the ambulance all night. Probably saw at least 2 people in their final moments. Very strange experience, I’ve actually never been less mad about the Yankees being eliminated from the postseason. Perspective I guess.

Wont follow the rest of the postseason that closely, but go Stros for sure.

The Yankees season ends just as it began, Stanton getting booed

He deserved it but the meathead Yankee fans blaming Boone last night and today are clueless.

RISP this series-

The Yankees were 4 for 26 (.154) while the Red Sox were 14 for 35 (.400).

I can’t believe Nunez made that play

Watching the replay where the runner was at when he fielded the ball I thought there was no way he was going to get him. Just an unreal play in that situation.

Boone deserves a ton of fucking blame, and the performance of the yankees' hitters has no bearing on that matter.  His lack of urgency changed both of the final two games.  Not subbing Walker for Andujar last night was also fucking stupid.  He's a clown.

Bregman would have got him by two steps.
