How many second must you maintain possession for it to be a catch? You cant make a football move if your going out of bounds. Is 2 minutes enough for a catch?

And there’s no way that burned Timeout will come back to haunt them right?

Go back and watch it full speed.

Damn Clowney juke left is so smooth

Never had a fucking chance.

Go back and watch it full speed.

Full speed has nothing to do with a catch or not. That was a catch for about 50 years

Meh, looked like a catch to me, but I'm old.

the NFL should do the right thing and call timeout and fire both coaches

So they're just letting that hit by Watt on Prescott go?

Yeah they changed the way they call it. Landing on a QB naturally won’t be called. Something like driving them into the ground will be.

when you watch it full speed, the ball comes out of his hands instantly when he hits the ground. The rule is maintain possession to the ground, if he's out of bounds, bobbled it and still caught it, it may not be a catch.

ZZzzz

My point is that they have ruined what a catch is. If you have possession and get two feet down, at that moment it should be a catch. It was for over 50 years, now you have to catch it and keep it without moving until you hit the ground, stand up and get s drink

Any kind of lucky tipped pass to the cowboys would be nice.

Also we need more of Vic saying players are terrible/worthless. Can’t just have Jaylon balling out.

3rd and 1 and we have a RB avg 10 yds a rush and the motherfucking coach calls a pass play. Fire this moron

This play isn’t one to make your stand on. Ball came out of his hands as soon as he hit the ground. Never a catch.

This game is essiantly a battle to determine which coach sucks more

Or to show which posters have shit spelling.

My stand is the rule not that catch in particular

Of course there is. Too many good runs in a row. Can’t have that.

That’s a super weak holding call btw.

If it is tied after 60 minutes, the NFL should cancel OT. Neither team deserves to claim a win.

It’s amazing going from the Texas ou game to this one and comparing the holding calls and no calls.

I don't follow the NFL as closely as college but I've seen college players get ejected for less.

If that’s a hold them there is holding on every single running play....

And in any sensible universe it still should be.  He caught the ball, got both feet in, then hit the ground, and then the ball bounced free.

Hate that shit.

I don't see anything on that play that looked like holding. He must have called the wrong number.

Oh wow. Whitney Mercilus still plays for the Texans?

Garrett is such a fucking idiot.  I really hate him.

Yeah I agree, but that's just the way it is. Of all the rules that changed to help the offense, maybe this one was a gift to help the defense, because Cris Carter could probably still go out there and catch outs if he only has to hold it for a split second.

Disagree.  That play highlights how fucked the rule is.
