Watched The Three Burials of Melquiades Estradas tonight. Every Texan should be required to watch this film.

Sicario, if you haven't seen it already.

Justified

Man in the High Castle

The Americans

Ray Donovan has its moments, if you like that sort of thing

I think they even have Seinfeld now.

It helps to have some additional context for what kind of things you enjoy, so similar things can be recommended.

Sneaky Pete looks interesting

I gave Man in the High Castle a shot but I just couldn't handle how bad of an actor that girl's boyfriend is.

Bosch

Goliath

Mrs. Maisel

Man in the High Castle

The Grand Tour

Alpha House

I started watching The Wire but didn't realize that it started streaming from the beginning of Season 5. Had no clue what was going on in the first 3 episodes, then I figured out who everyone was and it got really good. Made it through 8 episodes (and one major plot point that's going to ruin it for me) before noticing I was on season 5. Should I go ahead and finish it out before starting back from the beginning, or immediately stop now and begin from season 1?

Stop immediately and go back to S1 E1.

Its much better.

Sneaky Pete season 2 was good, but as with most second seasons it seemed to try too hard. Still watchable though.

I watch a lot of Starz through Amazon.  Got hooked on it due to Black Sails.

Along with everything mentioned already

Brittania

Outlander

Counterpart

One MIssissippi

Watched 'Crooked House' last night. Based on an Agatha Christie novel. Did not see that ending coming.

Didn't even realize Sneaky Pete Season 2 was out.    Found money.

Many good recs. I’ll add three.

“Wolf Hall.” A masterfully written/acted/produced BBC/PBS series from Thomas Cromwell’s point of view. Can’t rec highly enough for historically-minded viewers.

“The White Queen.” Ten-ep War of the Roses series based on a series of historical fiction novels.

“Grand Prix Driver.” For a motoring enthusiast. Follows McLaren’s F1 team through a season.

Would recommend Electric Dreams if you're a fan of Black Mirror.

Anyone know why the Man in the High Castle season 3 got pushed back till the mid Fall?

Grand Prix Driver is geat.

Grand Prix Driver was great.

Ghost Story is weird as fuck but I laughed.

The Lobster is hilarious and very dark.

There are also shit ton of compilations of old commercials, 70’s driver’s ed films and those anti-drug films we watched in junior high.  I can’t stop watching those.

How does Season 2 compare?

I honestly think there was no comparison.  It's definitely watchable, but not near as good as season 1.

When is season 2 of Goliath supposed to start?

I am only a couple episodes in, but I don't think it is as good. Not as clever, not as funny.

Britannia was pretty good. It is kinda game of thrones-esque.

I agree. I like that historical stuff on the UK is moving beyond King Arthur tales.   I think Braveheart might have shown the way in that regard.

Dean Martin's Celebrity Roasts.  Rickles never is not funny.

100% This.

Man in the High Castle is good.  Currently watching that.

Enjoyed Sneaky Pete, but, as CrownKing said, S2 tried too hard.

Bosch is great

Bosch season 4 should be available on April 13.

thanks for the reminder. really looking forward to s4.

If you liked TOp Gear at all or are a car fan, The Grand Tour is pretty good.

Bosch is fantastic, sneaky Pete is good but felt too much like oceans eleven towards the end

Hooker with a Hacksaw - "She hacks up rapists and snuff porno makers because they are bad guys."

Anybody seen this one?  Just added to Prime.

Yeah I found myself watching it while doing something else unlike the 1st season where it kept my attention.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I really liked the remakes of "and then there were none" and "murder on the orient express"

The first season was amazing. Didn't think they could get another season out of it. Couldn't find a date on the googletrons but looks like later this year. Awesome.

Mad Dogs is only one season and pretty good. Outside of two unbelievably bone-headed decisions by the protagonists, it's really enjoyable.

I like Man in the High Castle but the extreme time between seasons is getting ridiculous.

Agreed that Goliath is worth a watch.

Agreed, I have already forgotten the plot.
