Counsell wants Dodgers to load lineup with rightys against the lefty then bring to a righty pitcher

I guess I see that but is that not over-thinking things a bit? I would think this would work better when it's the other way around -- have a manager load up a lineup with lefties to face a right-handed starter and then bring in the lefty.

That might hold up with how shitty this Brewers offense has been lately.

Love the excitement from Puig. I'm sure that will trigger a lot of baseball dorks who think no passion or excitement should be in the game, though.

Two walks, a sac bunt, and a run scored for Kershaw today.  This series has been a pretty good advertisement for no dh.   There have been a lot of pitchers helping themselves.

Doubt it. I don't see the Brewers winning 2 in a row, home or not. Well unless they get to the Series and he doesn't pitch a home game..

And I hope we can put the "Kershaw suck in the playoffs" narrative to bed.  He was lights out.  Has he been as consistently awesome in the playoffs as he has in the regular season?  Maybe not, but again you are pitching against playoff teams, who have something to do with it.

I just want a game 7 but I think the Dodgers are on a roll now and win in 6. Brewers blew a big opportunity in game 2. I picked them to win in 6 but I thought they would take the first 2 home games. Bullpen blew that.

Interesting lineups tonight. Muncy at 2B could be fun.

Well damn Brewers! That was an entertaining 1st inning. Just give me a game 7 since Horns are off tomorrow.

i guess they kept Ryu in the game for his hitting

I do but he's not a woman...

Fun to watch Knebel dominate on this stage.

Why is he not running for Jesus here with Schoop or Perez, & then just move Shaw to 1B?

more passed ball/wild pitch nonsense.  i'm shocked there hasn't been some story about different playoff balls being too slick or something.  or maybe there has been and i'm not paying attention.

The Marlins guy waving a stuffed animal the entire game is possibly the most annoying thing I've ever seen during a big time sports event.

MLB needs to step in and do something about attention starved idiots waving props around behind home plate the entire game.

How long until companies hire actual clowns to sit in the first row behind home plate with spinning signs and other absurd props.

I haven't even noticed due to the woman with a great pair of tits sitting next to him.

Wearing a low cut shirt while actually watching the game and keeping score is damned laudable.

Spending the entire game on your phone while you wave a stuffed animal around in the air for 3+ hours...while occupying the seat directly behind the batter/home plate because you have a Cardashian-level need for attention, should be a crime punishable by public flogging.

I still don't know how the fuck Marlins Man became a thing.

He made himself a thing by going to these events.

No I get that. I meant why are people so fascinated with this guy who attends all these games wearing the same attire. Who fucking cares.

People are inherently stupid. It’s the only explanation.

Are people fascinated with this dbag?  I thought the only one fascinated with him was himself.

You kids do realize Vic admitted he had not seen a single Mil game before 163 this season? Think about that for a minute, in a 6+-month season, he had NEVER seen one of their games.

They could be this year's 2007 Rockies or 2014 Royals. Today was the first time I got to watch them play and were a fun team. Hopefully they can make a deep run. I have always loved their older uniforms.

The first time an MLB "fan" watched a game of an incredibly good team was Oct 1. That's a true fan of the sport right there. 6 months, 163 games, he never saw them once. That's Vic as a baseball fan.
