This club is so enjoyable to watch and root for. Good youth in Andy and TAA. A stout defender in VvD. An awesome front 4. Karius seems to be coming into his own.

Salah, Firmino, and Mane have accounted for 82 goals this season.

City have created more chances in 25 minutes against Spurs than in 180 minutes against us. Damn, everyone of our players stepped up in that tie.

Think about TAA, Ox, Robo, etc getting CL minutes. Invaluable experience.

ICC matchups are being leaks. LFC and ManU in Ann Arbor. LFC and BVB in Charlotte. Citeh in MetLife.

Hmm. Might be in for the Charlotte one. But a couple days in New York wouldn't be bad either.

7/22 Liverpool vs Borussia Dortmund (Bank of America Stadium)

7/25 Manchester City vs Liverpool (MetLife Stadium)

7/28 Manchester United vs Liverpool (Michigan Stadium)

If I’m Klopp I give the front 3 next week off. We have top 4 sewn up for the most part. Get fresh for Roma on Tuesday

Think you might see one start and play ~60 minutes and the other two play the last ~30 or so. Or something like that.

This morning’s result guaranteed we’ll finish above Arsenal for the 2nd year in a row. I would guess it’s been quite awhile since we’ve done that in back to back seasons. Pretty sure it hasn’t happened since the 80s.

Have a shot at confirming top four next weekend if Chelsea lose on Thursday and LFC beat West Brom next Saturday in the early game. West Brom would also be confirmed to be relegated if Swansea got a result vs Man City that day.

given what happened today, pool need to take it upon themselves to put the sword to brom so they don't suffer the same indignity that scum suffered today.

Well probably roll out our strongest squad but personally I'd rest as many guy as possible in prep for the UCL

Aren't the payouts a pretty big difference between finishing 2/3/4. Like £20-£30m different per place? I could see Klopp and FSG wanting to gun for 3rd and maybe pip United for 2nd.

Only a couple million per spot

Looks like £2m from EPL payouts but £7m per spot from the CL 40/30/20/10 tv payout model.

So ~£9m per spot. Not £20m but I’m sure FSG would like that extra money.

On turf?

According to the Telegraph‘s Chris Bascombe, Klopp has been buoyed by the imminent return of Joe Gomez.

Meanwhile, Dejan Lovren‘s withdrawal in the second half of Saturday’s 3-0 win at home to Bournemouth with a groin problem is believed to have been “a precaution.”

two requests.  How do you embed a tweet?

Can someone hit up the one from the official LFC account this AM por favor?  It needs to be memorialized on this thread.

I think we go relatively strong and assuming things are going well, sub early.  Think momentum is pretty key to Jurgen right now.
