more details...wtf is wrong with kids today...

KENS 5 learned disturbing details Wednesday from adult sources inside Alamo Heights High School. The sources say all of this stems from a team tradition.

In a message sent to KENS 5, a source says:

"The senior boys did an initiation, where they went out to the baseball fields and made the younger players put cookies dipped in hot sauce between their butt cheeks. Then, they had to race each other, and if any of the cookies fell out the person would have to eat it. They made them do this in an open space completely naked. They then also were throwing hot sauce on some of the players, then at a later party, made some of the freshman get down to their boxers and give lap dances to some cheerleaders."

District officials claim administrators and coaches had no knowledge of any allegations prior to receiving the reports.

"We understand there are rumors circulating in the community and would caution everyone against jumping to conclusions," the district says.

AHISD Athletic Director and head football coach Ron Rittimann said, "We have a responsibility to the young men on our football team that goes well beyond what happens on the field. We celebrate their successes when it’s appropriate to do so, but we also must help them learn from their poor choices. We will move forward as a team and continue the important job in developing the character of these young men.”

San Antonio sports radio host Mike Taylor tweeted on Wednesday morning that the varsity football team has been suspended two games, given in-house suspension and 10 hours community service for hazing.

This cracks me up.

I would have thought that hyper-closeted jocks and frat boys would be a thing of the past in the more permissive culture we now live in.

Their JV will play the varsity schedule?

WTF?

Why not cancel the Varsity season and let JV play their JV schedule?

Because youth sports has nothing to do with the kids.  It's about the parents and the *community.  Can't go a full season with out Friday nights, y'all!

*by community I mean the large number of weirdos who don't have kids in sports but who follow high school sports for the "entertainment" value.  I'll never understand how watching shitty football is entertaining for anyone not directly connected to one of the players on the field.

Didn't this happen with another team a few years ago? Oreos in the ass thing?

Shitty football? Our Westlake team has been better coached and has performed better than Texas for the last ten years and it’s not even close. Lake Travis also has been better coached. We support our community and watch our teams, who also happen to be very successful. Your argument about why we shouldn’t watch it makes no sense.

Do you think if the coaches at Westlake were given the players, facilities, and support of Lanier you’d be singing the same tune?

Sounds like someone who's never had to run a race with a Siracha soaked Oreo in his ass cheeks, dropped it, ate it, and then polished off the night giving a lap dance to a varsity cheerleader.

Lost in all this was that @NowThis ran a record quarter mile with an Oreo in his ass.

Sadly, no.

Of course not. But Westlake isn't competing w Lanier. They're competing with other accomplished programs, many of them have also been better coached and play smarter than Charlie Strong, Tom Herman and now Sark-led Texas. The original poster claimed that high school football is shitty. There are many of us who know better.

Don’t threaten him with a good time.

Back when we used to just fight and as long as no one died it was mostly boys will be boys.   Whoever suggested shoving cookies up other kids ass would have got their ass beat.

now that avenue for young aggression has been largely removed it sure seems like there’s sadistic tendencies finding some fucked up ways to be expressed, and accepted.

Is this where I ask if wing T and slot T offense popularity affects CFB recruiting?

SOC’s RG (#55) is a large, large human. Reminds me of Finch from Wildcats.

My understanding is that cookies were not up any asses, but rather in between some ass cheeks.

Not surprisingly, that's been a thing in the corp at aggy for decades.  But with hotdog wieners, and races in the dorm halls.

The preferred “hot sauce” in my day ..

I was looking to see if Cramer still manufactured salt tabs.  This is what they offer now for sports hydration at Cramer.

I had dudes try kneeing me in the nuts, poking my eyes, and chop blocks were frequent.  Poor ass, redneck West Texas kids DGAF.

You think you had it tough?  We had to play on shards of broken glass that were set out in the middle of the oil patch. The opponents carried pistols. Their parents carried assault rifles.  We had to carry our equipment 12 miles over caliche roads. If we lost the distance doubled.  But you try to tell that to kids today and do they believe you?
