Because we've been better or equal to you guys for the last 10 years while OU has dominated the conference?  And one of our weird games was against OU in 2014.  I was specifically recalling games like when we crushed top 5 Baylor and top 5 TCU some years ago (different seasons).  Not just won, but completely dominated.  Then we of course would lose to OU and blow a chance at a conference title.   So it goes for OSU fans.

The one that just really, really, really stings was the loss in the snow game in 2013.  Unlike most games against OU, we were quite clearly the better team and absolutely positively should have beaten them to win our 2nd Big 12 title in 3 years.

Instead we shit the bed and gave Rape U a backdoor Big 12 title two weeks after we wiped the floor with them.

I fucking hate bye weeks now that we are decent again. I loved them in recent years

This team can beat OSU, WVU, Tech & KU with Shane + Ingram being the feature back and the same good D we've been playing. We'll need Sam to beat ISU & OU in the CCG.

Defense is playing well but needs to tighten up in the second half. They’ve let teams back in the game after getting decent leads in the first half.

They haven't removed the giant, rusty, water tower from the Stoolwater skyline, have they? That would spoil everything.

Stay til the end to see one of the rarest sights in Texas Football... Davante Davis speaking! It's on video and everything!

Must be focused for this game. Don’t want an upset special like Purdue did to Ohio state.

Coming off a bye, I don't think we'll be overlooking Okie Lite. You just don't want that weird, tight sluggishness like against Maryland.

#219

Damn, -3 is tighter than I'd have thought.  Sam must not be able to play.  This is gonna be four weeks of puckered up buttholes and excessive drinking.

Chip Brown apparently reported today that Ehlinger would be good to go. So yeah, Vegas took that for exactly what it was worth.

I would certainly hope not.

Many reasons it could be as low as 3.

a) Night game on the road

b) oSu is coming off a bye, too

c) Uncertainty with Sam's health and arm accuracy, even if he's able to go.

d) Texas plays to competition

e) Texas doesn't really blow anyone out until late in the game

So you're saying our first offensive play should be a delay of game penalty?

#227

Only if OSU suddenly loses half their coaching staff and we want to throw the remaining elements far off their game.

HORNS poor results on their 2 Road Games in 2018 thus far (Maryland & KState) coupled with Sam's injury are probably both reasons for only a 3 point spread in favor of TEXAS.    (No I don't count BlowU Game as a true road game)

If TEXAS feels disrespected, then go kick some Okie Lite ass on Saturday Night's National TV Broadcast...... 🤘

Keep in mind that some fans of blue blood programs think “mouthy” is anything short of dropping to your knees and telling them how great their program is. Hell, you should know that. You live in a state full of textbook examples of it.

Don’t be a piece of shit, you whiny bitch.

Uh....you forgot that it'll be their "Halloween" game AND  OSU played awful last game, so gundy is gonna be all over their asses for two weeks.  We will get their best....no doubt.  We have to be totally focused and play well....for sure.

It's always interesting that people think Oklahoma State has a huge home field advantage.
Since the start of '14 Oklahoma State is 11-10 against Big 12 teams in Stillwater.
It's because Bedlam gives a distorted picture, and we love when OU really sucks.

Ehlinger isn't going to be able to run the ball. That's one of his biggest assets. Hopefully Mensa will find a way to compensate.

If he learns not to square up every defender to lower his shoulder, he can run at will. His problem is that he doesn't know how to take a hit/ avoid it and protect his body.

Damn I hate that stupid "paddling" against the stadium they do. What a fittingly stupid tradition.

Almost as bad as the TCU piano on wheels.

Oh great, OSU SB weekend.

It's a big game regardless, and will have no affect on how we play.  We will either play the same and get our asses kicked, or get our shit together and have a chance to win.  Neither homecoming nor Barry tribute will change the outcome.

They scheduled us for homecoming. Fuck you pokes!

Our homecoming is required to be mid to late October.  The opponent plays no role in which game is homecoming.  It's whatever game is at home during that two week span.

Really nice uniforms but Barry Sanders ain't walking out that tunnel with your team.

#243

Nor is Vince Young walking out of yours.  The past is meaningless.  You guys are good this year and we stink.  The 3 point spread is ridiculous in my opinion.

Kinda funny how they're playing up the retro aspect, but those uniforms are more in line with what every top 8 school is wearing right now (Bama, Clemson, Notre Dame, LSU, Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Georgia) than the trash modern shit they've been wearing since Dez left.

Wear those every week.  It looks good.

At least VY beat OSU. Barry never beat Texas.
