April 28, 20196 yr Hey guys, let’s run out the clock while we are down four in game 7 of a playoff series
April 28, 20196 yr What the fuck was going on at the end of the game? No foul? No timeout? What the fuck?
April 28, 20196 yr Wow..... the ending of the game was possibly the dumbest thing I've seen a pro team do in quite awhile. Why they didn't foul was beyond confounding. Why wasn't Pop yelling his head off to foul? There was 27 seconds left and it was two possession game. What a fucking hilariously fitting end.
April 28, 20196 yr I guess it was a good season. Didn’t really feel like it, but we’re at a pretty serious talent deficit vs. the elites. Did about all we realistically could. Not sure how we can upgrade, but maybe getting Murray back will help.

April 28, 20196 yr I might be a little emotional right now but I don’t like a single guy on this team.
April 28, 20196 yr Just rolled it back. Pop was on the court yelling at his guys to press them. He obviously wasn’t screaming at his guys to foul for some reason.
April 28, 20196 yr Well, that was interesting. Demar went Demar, Lamarcus went full regard, and Pop failed to play our best backcourt player in the fourth quarter. Idiots. Hope y’all enjoy dinner.

Shit, udoka, Messina and Forbes we're yelling to foul.
April 28, 20196 yr Even with a loss they didn't go out like some bitches. Proud of these guys.Somebody went out like a bitches on that last Denver possession. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
April 28, 20196 yr It’s LMA. He’s a team killer and we’ve sucked ass since he got here. Since LMA joined: Duncan retired Tony left Manu retired Kawhi left Nobody wants to play with his bitch ass.
April 28, 20196 yr Pop was yelling to foul or get up and pressure the ball. Nobody did it. If we got that to OT, Jokic was gassed. Only ones to really show up tonight were Gay (Mr. Broken Body) and Forbes.

Sending a double to try to get a steal before immediately fouling is reasonable but you have to at least do something there.

April 28, 20196 yr 1 minute ago, XYZ said: Get Murray back and trade Patty Nobody wants that shitty, non-shooting, horrid defending cancer.

Even the guys right near the bench. So if they did, then it was wholly ineffective. The players should have known what to do as well. At least one of them! Shit, isn't that what Patty is on the floor for? Was he out there?
April 28, 20196 yr I would love to hear some sort of reasonable explanation for why they weren’t fouling there, but the I’d have to listen to Pop do a post game interview. Think I’ll have a drink instead.

April 28, 20196 yr Just now, MrBig said: Isn’t this the final year of Pop’s contract? If so, he’s heading for the hills Napa Valley
April 28, 20196 yr Pop seemed to heavily imply in the press conference that he told them to foul and nobody heard him.
April 28, 20196 yr My last post on this this thread. It’s a team full of scrubs. How we ever got the 2 seed to game 7 I’ll never know. We need a superstar. Fuck Kawhi Leonard.
April 28, 20196 yr If you're a professional basketball player, you don't need your coach to tell you to foul in that situation...
April 28, 20196 yr This team has gone to shit since the LMA acquisition and Peter Holt divorce. Look at all the defections from a player standpoint, as well as who is left running the team. We’re doomed.

April 28, 20196 yr Pop damn near ran out there and fouled someone himself, if no one else was going to bother to do it.

April 28, 20196 yr I switched from beer to Tito's at halftime and thought I had done it, until Pop decided to retire with 30 seconds left. Fuck this shit.

He obviously wasn’t screaming at his guys to foul for some reason. 1) I don’t think that’s “obvious”. 2) Even if you’re right about what Pop was yelling, LaMarcus also didn’t apply any pressure. So he either didn’t hear him or chose to ignore him 3) An NBA player shouldn’t need to be told what to do in that situation. Forbes was pretty clearly telling LA to foul.
April 28, 20196 yr DDR is a crazy talented scorer but tries too hard in crunch time and forces stuff, which works out badly. LMA is great until he's not and he lives and dies by his turnaround J, which would be fine if were a threat to drive (he isn't) or an amazing passer (he's not). So we got to watch 2.5 quarters of clanks. The offense was terrible but the defense was worse. I've never seen a Spurs team so disinterested in playing D.
April 28, 20196 yr Maybe several Spurs players had bet mad money on them to cover the spread. They didn't want to foul and possibly blow their huge payouts. They almost lost their bets on that shot clock beating 3 point attempt, but it rolled out and they covered the spread.
April 28, 20196 yr After sleeping on it here my thoughts. 1: seriously wtf. Spurs were playing like dog shit, somehow we're close, had a minute chance to win then have the biggest basketball brain fart since jr smith last season. 2: for that reason every player not named Murray, white, or poetl are tradeable, and honestly I won't cry of either of them get traded. We have a team full of guys that should be the 3rd or 4th option. But if these veterans would improve their game (lamarcus needs to pass better, derozen needs to learn to shoot threes and both of those guys need to work on running PNR together ) ? But assuming Murray is back to his old self and Lonnie develops, that's like 5 guards 6-4 and under, none who are true point guards, or great shooters. 3: taking the 2seed down to the wire in game 7 is probably better than we should have expected. Plenty of posters thought they'd get run off the court, (which they did at times) 4. Denver is pretty well coached. Their ball movement and active defense is something to behold. That 2round series should be fun, and if they get to golden State we might see a record for uncalled moving screens 😀

Either Aldridge thought the game was tied, had more time left, or pops has taught them to do nothing without his say so and Aldridge couldn’t hear. Or maybe he doesn’t understand basic strategy. Weird. Thats worse than Chris Webber calling a time out when there weren’t any time outs. At least that was attempting the right action.
