Really good stuff. Goodman is so skinny these days. Buscemi is still just a weird looking dude.

I really enjoyed that.  Thanks for posting.

Generally, Harry Smith let them just talk among themselves.  Good move.

The theory that Donny doesn't really even exist except in Walter's mind is so crazy that it makes sense.  The Dude never interacts with Donny at all except that one time when he says "shut the fuck up, Donny"  when Donny tells him that his phone is ringing and, as Jeff Bridges says, that could very well be a move to humor Walter, to be sarcastic to Walter,  or just frustration.

I like the theory, but there's a lot of holes.  The Dude acknowledges Donny several times aside from the "phone's ringing Dude" scene: in the parking lot when they are fighting the nihilists ("they shot Donny?"), when he presumably calls the paramedics after that, during the mortuary scene, and also the scattering of the ashes.

they look great. thanks for posting. warms my goddamn heart

Yes there is. In the parlance of our times.

I was ordained as a dudeist priest on 9/9/14.

After watching that excellent interview I'm convinced more than ever that Jeff Bridges didn't do much acting while filming the Big Lebowski. He's 95% The Dude in his daily life.

It's the perfect movie

Well that’s just, like, your opinion, man.

The wardrobe for The Dude came from Jeff Bridges' closet.

Yup, but man that guy is a hero.  Was in NYFD for four years among his first jobs, then went back in 2001 to help out his old station, searching for some 36 hours with little breaks for survivors, refusing interviews or pictures the whole time.

One of the best human beings in the acting business.

Sometimes there's a man... I won't say a hero, 'cause, what's a hero? But sometimes, there's a man. And I'm talkin' about Donny here. Sometimes, there's a man, well, he's the man for his time and place. He fits right in there. And that's Donny, in New York.

I bet he tips well.

And he did it without seeking publicity, so there's that.  Total silence from Steve.  Not a word.  See how YOU like it.

Feb. 3, 2019 .... The sequel to the Big Lebowski will be announced.  At least, that is what I am getting from this Jeff Bridges tweet.

i'm guessing it's just a SB commercial.

What’s wrong with Jeff Bridges’ mouth? He sounds all weird.

Holy crap ... the Feb. 3 thing IS a Super Bowl commercial, for Stella Artois.  And if features the Dude and Sarah Jessica Parker in her Carrie Bradshaw/Sex in the City persona.  This is horrible.

I’m just shocked you actually thought they were doing a sequel.

There is supposed to be a pseudo sequel but just with Jesus the Pederast.  No idea on the status of that one.

Well we know he's a sex offender, with a record.  When he moved to Hollywood he had to go door to door to tell everyone.

Says 2019. I think it has been done for at least a couple of years.

I didn't see this thread the first time around, and am only a few minutes into the interview, but they really should have had Sam Elliott be the person interviewing these guys. That would have been perfect.

Old horse face's tits look nice in that commercial.

She's always been an exception to the ol' "keep yer eyes above the neckline" rule.

She looked good in Hocus Pocus.

Since Sam Elliott says at the end "but then, I happen to know there's a little Lebowski on the way,"   I thought that maybe ----- just maybe ------ the sequel was going to be about him.

Her body is not the issue, dude.

That's fucking interesting, man.

I may try to bid on one of the storyboards.

Bridge's living room looks like it smells like skunk weed and stale beer.  My spiritual home.

Man, if I weren't between jobs I might bid on a storyboard.  Still might.  That's badass.

You don’t go out looking for a job dressed like that? On a week day?

I’m just helping her conceive.

I can't imagine that any of these will sell for only $700 like they estimate.
