Republicans were so angry about a "celebrity president" like Obama getting elected, that they then elected the guy from the reality show.

Every. Single. Accusation.

Imagine the number of heads that would explode if Michelle wanted to run for office.

last five celebrity presidents, with party:

trump (r), reagan (r), _______, _______, _______

it's arguable that people who had fame from military careers would be celebrities, though that is government service so not entirely dislike being governor.  so, ike (r), t. roosevelt (r) and grant (r). tho roosevelt was on a regular government path before that.

That was the strangest complaint. Celebrity? He wasn’t a celebrity. He was a politician. He didn’t have a tv show. He wasn’t in the movies. He didn’t have a hit song. He wasn’t rich. He wasn’t a celebrity. He was popular. That’s what scared them. A popular politician is a formidable opponent and they were scared shitless of him.

Being loved vs being feared;  they somehow sense the former may be better.  They just have no clue how to do it.

#15

No, no. It was "The Cult of Obama" that libs were a part of. Now, who exactly are the members of a cult based around a politician?

It was because Springsteen, Clooney, Bono, etc. liked him and attended/performed at his events. It, of course, didn't make any sense.

He looks presidential in anything he wears.  I have always envied men who can look like a million bucks in anything they choose to wear.

That is typically just a figure of speech, but in this case I would actually do it. Provided, of course, that the left nut removal was done surgically by actual doctors with anesthesia, etc. of course.
