Yep.  And Waddle kicked some ass today too.

That being said, it'd be stupid to complain about how the season has played out for us thus far.

I just love watching him play. He’s like a 26 year old Antonio Brown that’s somehow a true freshman.

I'm obviously not saying they're on the same level but, if Beck could just get Jamison in space every once in awhile...

Thread title, but fucking unironically. This dude is the best player in college football 8 weeks into the season and I honestly don’t think it’s close.

I can’t remember a better freshman season from a skill player.

Agree. If the Heisman wasn’t a bullshit award that goes to the QB on an undefeated team, Moore is easily the best player.

Not even close to the same level. Moore doesn’t need space. He makes it on his own.

Lol if?

Remember a dude named Vince Young?

From his Wikipedia:

On October 20th, Rondale Moore made Ohio State look like a 4th grade Peewee team.

I get what you're saying, but no. Tua is on another planet right now.

Dude balls out and makes his team better. That used to be important to the heisman criteria but who fucking knows now if he doest play for Bama or the ESPN flavor of the month

I don’t think I disagree with you. However, one could argue that while Tua DOES make the players around him better,  he’s also surrounded by superior talent. Moore is having a ridiculous season doing everything on a mostly garbage Purdue team. At the very least he deserves to be in the discussion.

Well not complain but it's fun to think that we were ... this close... to be even that much better. LJH, CJ and Moore jesus christ.

Fuck EJ

Can't be said enough. His fucking arrogant analysis of Rondale Moore based on some 7 v 7 bullshit will live on forever. DIPSHIT.

Why did he decommit?  And who the fuck is EJ?

Jeff Brohm is a legacy at the High School that Moore is from.

EJ is a recruiting analyst that is easily manipulated and doesn’t speak for himself.

Herman and the staff jumped on Moore early too.  Too bad he didn't stick, but if you want some laughs, check out the 2018 recruiting thread with EJ taking shots at Moore to defend Waddle.

On another note, CAN'T WAIT TO SEE JAKE SMITH next season for us.

Jake Smith and Whittington will make up for Moore, in spades, but man I HATED losing Moore last cycle.

Moore reminded me of Heisman potential last year. But so do Smith and Whittington this cycle.

It's all good. Of course, I have no other choice.

Too bad Rondale isn't a year younger, we'd have a great seaon to show him plus Brohm might be headed to another program that already has higher rated recievers committed that he doesn't want to bump.

Of course if my aunt had balls yadda yadda.. just hate it when players once committed to us tear it up elsewhere. Keep winning and we won't lose too many recruiting battles..

OT but makes me smile whenever someone trots a Wiki link as definitive proof of anything

The Wiki page is a starting point. If you care, you can proceed to the footnoted links.

Somebody should tweet Moore's stats at EJ every damn day.  You will be hard pressed to find a worse take on a player ever.  It was so obvious how good he would be.

"here's some places you can go to do research to prove my point"  Yeah, no.  IF the links are the proof, the post the link to the proof not the wiki.  When the "facts" are crowd sourced there's too much potential for bias IMO.  As much as I want to believe "Rondale Moore is the owner of OSU", it's not factually correct.

Heisman has been irrelevant since they picked Reggie Bush (who had to give it back) over Vince Young.

Cute commercials, shitty worthless trophy.

Rondale Moore received consensus All-America honours for the year. He's the third true freshman in college football history (after Adrian Peterson and Herschel Walker) to received such a distinction.

It will be interesting to set how a lot of combine performances shake out.  There are a lot of kids in the big 10 opting out to wait for the draft.

Moore will be fined because he’s a specimen but this trend won’t work for everyone.

you wouldn’t think so but he’s a very articulate kid, very well spoken.  he will do great in his pre-draft interviews.

Think Brohm is rethinking his decision to stay now?

No.

Woohoo! Love watching him play.

Agreed. But I would enjoy watching him play even more if he would have stuck to his Texas commit. Dude can flat out f'n ball.

If he appeared on ESPN, smart publicity move...
