So on Wednesday, I stopped in River Market Antiques in Kansas City around 3 in the afternoon. Very quiet scene on that street.  As I walked up to the store, I noticed a guy sitting alone on the s

Here's a (bad video) clip of Alex & Geddy joining Taylor & Rami on YYZ in 2008 (Toronto).

I don't really care for "Shame Shame" and if that's the direction they go in the future, I won't have much interest in those albums.

Heard Shame Shame for the first time.  Decent song with a terrible chorus.

Wow, wicked ending to The Best of You on that.  Weirdly didn't show any of Shiftlett's solo though.

WTF, I just heard "Learn to Fly" on a commercial for Dodge Trucks.

Did Grohl sell his songs like the others are doing?

Doubtful. Much more likely they licensed it.

It happens.  Haven't been playing shows in 10 months.  Licensing fees.  Gotta feed the monkey.

Yep.  I used to work in music licensing.  Dodge probably paid a flat fee for the use in that commercial.

The Foo Fighters have unveiled their new musical direction - transforming from stadium rock heroes to a Bee Gees tribute band for their next album.

As the Dee Gees, a nod to frontman Dave Grohl's initials, the band will release an LP including four Bee Gees covers.

Hail Satin will see the Foos take on the Gibb brothers' 1970s disco classics Night Fever, Tragedy, You Should Be Dancing and More Than a Woman.

It will be released on vinyl for US Record Store Day on 17 July.

So it turns out Dave Grohl singing falsetto is roughly as bad as I expected it would be.

Yeah, the disco experiment is not working out well.

Oh I’m not giving it a listen. But good for them just because.

Because it's NYC and everyone was emotional. Seriously, 2020 was fucking rough. The sounds of ambulances 24/7 in April were a fucking beating.

They’re all wondering what they’re doing at a Foo Fighters show.

Honestly, the concert was amazing. Not a dry eye when they opened with Times Like These. They introduced Dave Chapelle as everyone's favorite Dave. And they played one disco song which was a lot of fun.

We stayed out after until almost 4 AM, which is the first time since the Pandemic started back in March 2020.

Following its sold-out show at Madison Square Garden in New York this week, rock band Foo Fighters announced they’ll be the first band to play a full-capacity show at The Forum in Inglewood in over a year.

The band will take the stage on Saturday, July 17.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 25 at Ticketmaster.com.

I refused to believe that was Dave singing, but there’s a live recording of this as well (though he’s not CLOSE to as clean w it live)

It got postponed last Wednesday. Rescheduled date has not been announced. I was able to get tickets, so I really hope I don’t have any conflicts with the rescheduled date. Was really looking forward to it being my first show since Feb 2020.

I'm glad they entered the DGAF phase of their musical career and are just having fun.  They need to go on tour with this, and they should have done Stayin' Alive, would like to see them strutting around.

Hulu is showing Lollapalooza and Foo should be going on stage any minute

I’m still amazed when Pretender is one of the first songs they play. Could easily be the closer
