February 3, 20196 yr 25 years. Holy shit. I remember buying their first album at Sundance Records in San Marcos. And that first album was JUST Dave
February 3, 20196 yr Who would have thought perry Ferrell would be able to hit those notes 30 years later
February 3, 20196 yr Opening hip hop act I’ve never heard of. Looks like Foo on in another 45 minsI’m a Run the Jewels fan but that wasn’t very good. I had a couple of friends there. Tix were $250 each. They built a 6,000 seat venue just for this one show for the Super Bowl.
February 4, 20196 yr It’s one weekend in New Orleans, and they’ve already rescheduled it. No specifics on who was injured.

Which is in itself a what the fuck/where did 25 years go moment.
February 8, 20196 yr Yeah I'm guessing he was just rounding to 25. Either way... holy shit... can't believe it's been 25(ish) years.
February 20, 20196 yr https://www.loudersound.com/news/foo-fighters-leader-dave-grohl-undergoes-arm-surgery Quote Earlier this month, Foo Fighters announced they were having to postpone two shows due to “a band member injury.” The Foos were due to open the Fillmore in New Orleans on February 15 and 16, but were forced to move the shows to May. Now it’s been revealed exactly what the injury was – and it’s because vocalist and guitarist Dave Grohl had to have surgery on his left arm. He revealed the news during a talk with Live Nation’s CEO Michael Rapino at the Pollstar Live conference, saying (via Billboard😞 “This is something I’ve had to deal with for a long time. It’s not the end of the world, but I did have to have surgery on my arm because I need it to pay the rent. “I knew I had to fix my arm at some point and I went ahead and did it." Grohl added: “It's funny having surgery because you actually get a little bit of rest. Right before they wheeled me in, the guys said, ‘Hey, we’re going to give you something that’s going to make you feel really good’ and I thought, 'I finally get to take a nap.'" Prior to his surgery, Foo Fighters played a Super Bowl pre-show concert in Atlanta. They were joined onstage by artists including Tom Morello, Queen’s Roger Taylor and Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell.

June 22, 20196 yr At this point they could put together a decent band just with the randoms he’s brought on stage
June 22, 20196 yr I love it when they do that. Just last night I had to show "Kiss Guy" to a friend, he's a Foo fan but didn't make it to that concert and had no idea what it was until I showed him.
June 22, 20196 yr Wonder if they pre screen these guys somehow back stage or something. Because they've all been pretty fucking good.
June 22, 20196 yr He grills them pretty good from the stage. “Don’t lie to me mother fucker! Can you REALLY play?”
June 22, 20196 yr Last I heard, KISS Guy (Yayo Sanchez) is playing with Natchet Taylor and Able Idle in Disko Wolves. He's legit. Here's his version of the back story, which I have no reason to doubt: KISS guy Disko Wolves Edited June 22, 20196 yr by jimmyjazz
