Holy shit, VT has awful uniforms.  Are they supposed to look like a church choir?  The 1978 Vancouver Canucks?

Anyways, they just busted a slant for about 50 yards 1:30 into it, 7-0.

The triple option is actually really fun to watch.

Hell yes it is. True football.  Assignment football I fucking love it! But I am torn, my folks went to VA Teach so go football.

Flipping over from WVU metaphorically Bayloring Baylor. Stoked for some option football.

God GT is completely blowing VT off the line. It seems like every play the line of scrimmage is 3 yards further up than it actually is.

Ga. Tech: 41 rushes, 1 pass in the first half.

Too many passes, IMO.

Probably GaTech TD. Jackets miiiight be running away with this.

51 carries, 309 yards & 5 TDs.

9:14 to play in the 3rd.

I concur

Maybe I'm stupid, but it doesn't seem smart to run the option against an option team, considering that most everyone on their defense spent their first two or three seasons on campus on 2nd team, practicing against the option every day.

Holy shit. When your fullback in this offense has run 8 times for 65 yards and 2 TDs the defense does not have a chance.

When this offense is clicking it really is beautiful.

GaTech blowing the Hokies out in Blacksburg. UVA may win the division.

I'll be at their game at BC tomorrow. Hoping for a nice Eagles win.

Also wow is VaTech shooting themselves in the dick.

Hoos with the head to head win.

I've been up to BC a bunch of times. It's an interesting venue. There is an air of not really giving a fuck about football but we have to do something during those 3 hours.

Are you going to town afterward?

True, but next Friday night UVa has to come to Pitt and play. I've gotta stick with my Panthers for that one.

My brother is a senior there (transferred from Ole Miss - that was a change of scenery in all senses), so I saw the NC State game there last year. I'll be spending the weekend in Boston - since I lived there for a few months after college I'll be hitting up my old haunts. Going to the Gardner Museum for the first time which should be really nice in a cultural way.

I like the Freedom Trail. And my favorite bar is The Black Rose

Never been to the Black Rose - I'll see if I can drag my brother out of Chestnut Hill. I do need somewhere to watch the UT game after all.

It's pretty Irish. Don't wear any English Premier League team jerseys in there. Behind the bar are pictures of folks from the 1916 rebellion.

That's rad. I will not be bringing my Chelsea jerseys haha.

Ballgame. #6 on GaTech has to get his head around there, though. He got bailed out by the WR.

Lulz.  Catch of the game is zone toss.

I figure just a friendly tip from me.

Like a lot of folks here in Pittsburgh I have a wee bit of the Irish and my grandmother always insisted that there was no such thing as a Protestant Irishman. So, I like that bar.

Few years ago, drove over to Boston to watch a childhood buddy's kid play for Clemson vs. BC, really liked the Stadium there.  Got a kick out of walking through the concourse and seeing a banner noting their win over Texas back in the mid/late 70s.   IIRC, Bucky Godbolt was a member of that BC team.

What's amazing in this offense is that right now, as they are ready to score their 7th rushing TD in 71 rushes for 412 yards the longest run of the night is 16 yards.

I don't know about that. I've had a broken kneecap, not from a hammer but in a soccer game, and it hurt like nothing I have ever felt before. And I've had a lot of stupid shit happen to me.
