Yeah on Tapa it's out of control.  But you can hide them individually (swipe left).

Yeah I guess it's actually just the "announcement" threads (with the megaphone icon) that you can hide.

Just use your browser and go to the actual website. There is only 3 max, usually it's only 1 or 2 though. Clean the sand out of your vag.

On my tapa on my note8 you can long press and a hide pop up appears, press that and it hides it. If you are iphong dweeb it may not work on your inferior device. OU sucks.

I'm on the Note 4 and did the same thing. Hid all of them. Guess Apple dorks can't do it. Too bad.
