meanwhile he'll get cut.

This is a good take. You should go get a scouting job in the NFL. Plenty of teams could use your unparalleled understanding of the cornerback position.

He’s gonna get drafted, play special teams and wind up starting some before he gets cut. There will be some ass hurt posters here.

That last sentence is up there with some of your dumbest shit on this site. If the pass rush this year was as good as last season, he’d look a lot better. If Jones loses a matchup is damn near a touchdown every time it seems like.

Good to know you stand by your takes.

UT DB's have a phenomenal track record in the NFL. I'm not betting against a guy with all of the necessary tools just because of the mistakes he made at the college level.

Maybe he doesn't pan out, but saying shit like "y'all are going to be butthurt when he gets cut" after you claimed the reason he looked poor at times was because of the DLine is beyond stupid. There is a chance he becomes a very good NFL DB, especially if he is playing behind a decent front 7. The tape is there. It's not there on every play, but it's there. The question is how much can he work to clean up his mistakes.

yeah, he could play special teams for years because of the NFL body and he can hit.  Can't cover so ST it is.

He's physical and has good measurables, which means he's going to be drafted, although I can't rule out some off-field stuff surfacing that pushes him into UDFA territory. He hurt his stock this week.

His excellence in the short passing game and playing the run made him an asset to the 2018 defense, even with his penalties and blown coverages. Boyd graduating isn't a loss so much because of him as much as it is that we didn't bring in an outside corner of his caliber in 2016 or 2017. Nevertheless, he is a loss for the beginning of the season.

You don’t think having a better pass rush doesn’t help a dB?

I don't think you're following this argument very well.

Maybe look at my original comment you replied to?

Hes not getting drafted. Said it during the season and saying it again now. Not sure how anyone who actually watched our games can think he’ll make it in the league

however, the nfl being run by idiots is the only chance he has

I’ll have to.

If someone like Chykie Brown can get drafted then Boyd can. Good measurables but pretty spare players

Adrian Phillips is the startihg safety on a playoff team and was selected as an All-Pro.

Boyd is getting drafted and he’llplay for a while.

Got to watch a couple of games of Bradshaw playing freshman ball at LSU. Unbelievable arm. He also won the frosh NCAA Javelin before flunking out and heading off to LaTech. Can't believe they couldn't find a class or ten to keep him eligible.

*THAT'S* how stupid he is.

Actually I think he dropped his junk on the table and said "why don't you count, motherfucker?"

4.45 for Kris Boyd on his first 40 attempt.

Boyd making himself some money. Most bench reps, nice 40 time, still has 2 testicles.

does he project as a CB in the NFL?

As opposed to?

Safety

Are people treating him as a legit safety prospect? He wasn't a high IQ corner in college - kind of doubt he would make it at safety in the NFL.
