And there's really nothing below it,  the creek quickly flows into the Trinity.  So a burst might flood/damage Green Oaks Blvd, part of a golf course, but probably not the water treatment plant, since GO Blvd and the surrounding flood plain are below the level of the plant's flood walls.

Anybody taking bets on the dam being constructed by somebody with an A&M degree?

No destruction in the video just a nice "trickle"  and I was hoping for something more from Dallas

Yeah that "lake" is pretty small and looks to be very shallow. The debris from the dam will be a bigger problem than the water released.

well...that an hour and 49 minutes of my life I won't get back....

Always had an irrational disdain for that neighborhood. Who builds a nice development across the street from a water treatment plant?
