What is it about the name Joy, having a job in the media, and having the I.Q. of a barnacle?

Hugely important point just now by @ezraklein: if the outcome of the midterms is that Republicans lose the popular vote for House and Senate, as they did w/ the White House, but due to gerrymandering emerge still controlling all three (and the Supreme Court)? Legitimacy crisis.

Just exactly how does one go about gerrymandering the Senate and the White House?

A bit of Kentucky and Indiana. And, mostly, yes. Some precincts/counties are getting extended time due to the number of people voting.

Huh - according to exit polling more voters opposed Kavanaugh and think Trump is too tough on immigration.

Where are all the dingdongs who were screaming about Kavanaugh being the cause for a red wave?

2 years ago I was at a big happy neighborhood party that was celebratory until about 8 PM and then it turned stunned and shocked.

This year it's just me and my dog and the TV.  Election night PTSD.
