November 10, 20187 yr I’m in shock we finally pulled a win out I feel like we normally lose these games Happy. But in shock
November 10, 20187 yr Ugly as fuck, but fuck Arkansas!!! And kill this ball screen offense. Especially where Osetkowski never fucking dives to the basket. You're 6'10" for godsakes. Dive to the fucking basket every now and then.

November 10, 20187 yr We won a game in which we shot 21-67 from the floor... Are you a pessimist or an optimist?

November 10, 20187 yr I can't see how it's possible for Sims to ever leave Texas before he's a senior. Forget offensive skill. Dude doesn't even have offensive instincts for the game.
November 10, 20187 yr Good job guys. You may not always play well but when you keep playing hard, good things can happen.

November 10, 20187 yr Bench was a lot shorter in the second half, but it was good to get so many guys involved in the first half. It will be interesting to see how our rotation evolves when Hamm is healthy and if/when Jones can handle more minutes.

That being said we played a lot better in the first half, especially when we started using the bench. Maybe Shaka should take that into consideration.
November 10, 20187 yr If Jones gets back to form this year Febres minutes need to diminish accordingly. He should get a few minutes every game to see if he has a hot hand, but if not he needs to see the bench. He doesn't stress the defense at all.
November 10, 20187 yr good win. mainly because it wasn't a loss. unfortunately we look like the exact same team as last year. maybe the frosh can take some serious playing time away.
November 10, 20187 yr There was about a 6 minute period of play in the middle of the first half where I thought we looked like a good team. Outside of that the entire game was garbage.
November 10, 20187 yr I am glad we have the SEC schedule with this team. Warm up on scrubs at home before hitting the conference schedule. That wasn't pretty but it was a W. Count me in the group wanting to see 33 get minutes.
November 10, 20187 yr My phone died at the game, so mercifully, you did not have to suffer through any more of my updates. That was easily one of the most fun sporting events I have ever attended. The incredibly small scale of it, coupled with the military angle, made it truly unique. I sat amongst the player's families and Shaka's wife, which was really fun. Everyone was so friendly and appreciative that we were there. Seeing the game so close-up was fascinating, as I could hear all of their comments from the bench. I will post pictures tomorrow. Cheers.

He will transfer out much like Febres when he gets benched in the next week or so and gets no minutes in conference play. If Hayes does become the starter, he might end up leaving after a season. It's the same formula under Shaka, little to no improvement in year 2, no PT, they leave.
