Yeah, our lawyers in the "Tell me about Baylor" thread are bantering about it.

I didn't realize they changed from the block logo to that slanty shit font. I hope they fucking lose the case now.

Fuck Baylor, it’s not like they have a storied history of obtaining consent before disregarding the rights of others.

I hope Boston U pours them out on summary judgment, citing McDonald’s v. McDowell’s, 220 U.S. 221 (1988).

If you're ever in Queens, McDowell's is a must stop. Order the Big Mick.

That's awesome. Raleigh's grown so fast, and having a Southern college football experience ten minutes from downtown is a huge benefit. I used to do a running loop from the state capitol around the State Belltower.

The club hockey team (which is surprisingly popular due to the Hurricanes being the one pro team in town) crushed it with these recently for their game against UNC:

Georgia Tech is not using any navy, opting instead for grey and gold.  The uniforms are just fine but schools need to use their colors. We should have left grey alts in 2018.

The jersey is ass. The word mark is huge and the numbers don’t match anything else.

Hasn’t this jumped the shark yet?

And by “yet” I mean 10 years ago.

Truly boring and played out, but Adidas gonna Adidas.  Still not the worst thing they have been associated with, considering they were founded by a Nazi who reportedly had his own brother conscripted into the army out of jealousy.  Also, they made these:

Co-signed.  I love it when guys wear non-positional numbers.

Every time I watch BYU I’m going to think that’s a fullback running Wildcat or something.

Raiders might have the best uniforms in the NFL.

Why can’t the Cowboys just ask the raiders for their pants?  The stupid blue-green/baby blues are awful.

I'm sure Mr. Cowboy agrees. I've often wondered when the green hue was incorporated into their pants.

How can you not like a burly QB wearing #47? I look forward to seeing what the kid can do with BYU.

He explained the reasoning after transferring to BYU. “I used to play running back when I was younger … and when I made the transition to quarterback, I just kept the number,” said Bachmeier. “I don't know, I like the number and it kind of brings you back to your primitive nature when you're playing.”

I never asked why Bachmeier is wearing #47.

It's refreshing to see a traditional power like Nebraska focusing on what really matters.

I mean, they have been awesome, especially since the move to the Big 10 with a combined record of 88-85. They've had one 10-win season in the Big, that was in 2012, the second year in the league. They started out with 9 wins, 10 wins and 9 wins and since it's been shit with two winning seasons in their last 10.

Well, you see, the defense was renowned for wearing black shirts under their uniforms. This gimmick is just the next logical step.

Or, here’s a thought. Work with me here. Maybe just use these?

Supposedly it's almost always been there, as the weird hue was needed to make them look silver with old TV color. As TV color representation improved, the green became more apparent.

They did change it a couple years back though. Now it's more blue-tinted than green.

Could work, but obviously you'd need to change the shade of blue used on the white jerseys if we wore these pants all the time. Unpopular opinion but I like the bright blue on the home white jerseys.

They should do that anyway. Get rid of those ugly ass home pants and the blue they use for them on the jersey.

Roger Staubach era uniforms definitely match the helmet better.

It would also match their road jersey and pants.

Yeah, but we can see the greenish tint appears to be removed from the home uniform. I had never read about it being added for TV resolution/contrast. Interesting

It doesn’t have then greenish tint but it’s more of a blue tint and it doesn’t match the helmet grey and the blue doesn’t match it either.

Agreed

The home jersey features royal blue numbers, which complement the blue tint of the pants, but not the helmets.

I mean why do they need 4 different clashing shades of blue on one uniform?

Jerry Jones prefers to rewatch games on his 1978 Magnavox so you’ll take the 4 clashing shades of blue and like it.

The Boys start winning again like they did when they were called Cowboy Tom and the Dude Wranglers and yinz won’t give a shit what kind of uniforms they wear.

The Cowboys use to have the best uniforms in the league during the Landry years.  Then along comes jerry and he ruins them.

Iowa State gets what I think is overall an upgrade.

Better: Numbers and stripes; color on color is hard to do right and the white with accents pops. The stripes on the sleeves and helmets are a good call-back to 1990s no-nonsense looks; there are some real pro football vibes here in a good way. Red on white and white on red is a good classic, contrasting look so hopefully no color rush stuff.

OK: I don’t like small word marks; either make it integral to the jersey or leave it off (preferable).  The script “Cyclones” is simply fine here and is better than the “I State” logo. I kind of miss the Whirly Bird and think it could work well here as college football should be fun.

I guess you missed the part where the change was made by Tex Schramm.
