July 14, 20223 yr Under different lighting, it seems like a good bit of red has been removed from the saturation in the burnt orange.
July 15, 20223 yr It's lame to copy Alabama, and they also have numbers on the helmet to make identifying players from the side easier. The numbers on top of the shoulder last year were too busy and no numbers at all is too plain. Number on the side like during the VY era was best. At least they lost the horn logo on the bottom of the neck which was awful.

I don't see how you can say we're copying Bama with this look.
July 16, 20223 yr Not to mention that we’ve had this look before with no side numbers and it worked out pretty good then…

July 19, 20223 yr 1. Better than their normal helmet 2. Shame they decided to give their fans seizures with that little hype vid

I’ve never heard or read one say this. What’s the “carnival?” Chaps babes are real assssets though!

July 22, 20223 yr Bengals revealed their alternate helmets today, although there was plenty of speculation they would look just like this: Should look sharp if these mockups are accurate:
July 22, 20223 yr It's still a trash uniform but that's a hell of an improvement. They should only wear those when they play in Vegas as a Siegfried and Roy tribute.
July 24, 20223 yr Tigers taking on a zebra's stripes and shit. Grandview HS in Texas has used that scheme for a while now. Edited July 24, 20223 yr by slorch

July 25, 20223 yr I hate black alternate helmets for teams who don't use it in their everyday color palette; Jets, Eagles, Commanders, etc. But, the black jerseys sell so here it is.
July 27, 20223 yr Those ND ones look sick.Smart to play BYU in Vegas too, it actually has the largest Mormon population outside of SLC. And more people are going to make a trip to Vegas than Provo.

July 29, 20223 yr ND is one of those teams that shouldn't be messed with. The 90's ND uniforms were perfect with the lighter shade of gold. The dark gold pants and ultra shiny helmets look weird to me.
July 29, 20223 yr Bruins settle with UA for $67 mil Quote A six-year saga that started with smiles and handshakes ended with a sterile settlement document, Under Armour agreeing to pay UCLA $67.491 million to resolve the school’s lawsuit against the sports apparel giant, according to a document reviewed by The Times. The settlement that was reached in late May ended a fractious dispute that started more than two years ago when Under Armour attempted to unilaterally terminate its record 15-year, $280-million contract with UCLA, prompting the university to sue the company for breaching its agreement. UCLA initially sought more than $200 million in damages as part of the lawsuit that the school on Thursday requested to be dismissed from Los Angeles Superior Court. The squabbling escalated last fall when Under Armour filed a countersuit, alleging that UCLA was being vindictive when it covered the company logo with social justice patches on the jerseys of football, baseball, men’s basketball and women’s basketball players. That allegation has also been dropped as part of the settlement. DOCUMENT: UCLA/Under Armour settlement agreement 1 hour ago The settlement, which includes a mutual non-disparagement agreement, has been approved by the Board of Regents of the University of California, according to one person familiar with the developments. UCLA can use its windfall to help offset the $102.8-million debt facing its athletic department that was caused in part by the loss of the Under Armour deal. In December 2020, the school agreed with Nike and Jordan Brand on a six-year, $46.45-million deal to outfit its teams with their respective brands. “UCLA is one of the most recognized and respected collegiate names around the globe,” Mary Osako, UCLA vice chancellor for strategic communications, said in a statement released after the settlement. “We are gratified to have resolved this matter in a way that benefits our student-athletes and the entire Bruin community.” U At the time it terminated its deal with UCLA in June 2020, Under Armour contended it was allowed to do so because the school had failed to fulfill its obligations on several fronts — by failing to provide marketing benefits during the stoppage of sports caused by the COVID-19 pandemic; by failing to field its baseball team for more than half its games during the 2020 season; and by shaming the company and itself through the resignation of men’s soccer coach Jorge Salcedo after his involvement in the college sports admissions scandal. Under Armour later tried — and failed — to have UCLA’s lawsuit dismissed before the sides agreed to the settlement. In previous court documents, Under Armour said it provided UCLA with more than $65 million in cash and products in the three years before it informed the school that it was dissolving the agreement. https://www.latimes.com/sports/ucla/story/2022-07-29/ucla-settle-200-million-lawsuit-under-armour-breach-of-contract

August 8, 20223 yr The Notre Dame uniforms are terrible. ND shouldn’t do any alternates except maybe a green jersey now and then. Most alternate uniforms end up being terrible except when the alternate is a throwback to what the uniform should be. All these excess uniforms are like Barbie dolls for sports guys.
