Let the person have their seizure but make sure they don't get hurt during the seizure. Loosen tight clothing, move furniture away, put something soft under their head. At least that's what I tell my family and coworkers if I ever have another grand mal.

My dog started developing seizures at about 14 years old. Culprit was the leftover Whataburger french fries I'd bring him on occasion. Probably should have stopped eating the fries.

It's a little fuzzy because she's a rescue. She will go a couple of months without any and then she might have 7 in a few days. Loses bladder control and the whole nine yards. I tuck a shop towel under her and keep her safe. She is on a thyroid pill, but it preceded that diagnosis and pill regimen. There's a greater than zero chance that she ate something that she found on the floor. I can't leave anything for half a second or she's gobbling it up. May 16May 16 Quote Penny France, 35, from Surrey, U.K. received a panicked phone call from her husband who had taken their 4-year-old pup, Brooklyn, to a nearby dog park. "My husband took them out early [and] after about 20 minutes, my husband called me panicking, saying: 'Brooklyn has walked off, he's turned around and left the dog park, and I think he's gone home,'" France told Newsweek. https://www.newsweek.com/owner-thinks-golden-retriever-missing-looks-window-2073230 Edited May 17May 17 by elfenix
