November 15, 20187 yr See that they are running the entire Billy Jack series which, unfortunately, includes Billy Jack Goes to Washington. A horrible remake of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and quite possibly the worst film made in the 70's. (and I like Billy Jack) Edited November 15, 20187 yr by RPM

The wiki is amazing another one one is on now.. Edited November 15, 20187 yr by Hook1997
November 15, 20187 yr I remember watching these when they were originally released. That One Tin Soldier song got run into the fucking ground.
November 20, 20187 yr The weird thing about these Billy Jack movies is that Billy Jack isn't really in them that much.

Course, before that I wanted to be Bronson from Then Came Bronson.
November 20, 20187 yr I watched a little Walking Tall a few months ago. Man, the 70's were a glorious decade. Almost everything that came out of that decade was .... I'm not even sure what the word is. I know the word is not "good". So bad you can't look away good, maybe. Whatever it is, I loved them then and still do. The clothes, the hair, the music, the cartoons, the toys, the TV shows, the commercials that came on during those TV shows. The movies of the 70's could possibly be the best part of the decade. You had everything from Billy Jack and Walking Tall type of cheese to Chinatown and The Godfather. All hail the 70's! Oh shit, I just remembered one of my favorite things about the 70's. The novelty songs like The Streak. Or those songs where there was some newscaster type acting like he's interviewing people about some issue of the day and the answers were all excerpts from songs. I remember one on Watergate and one on the energy crisis. And one on Jaws. So fucking terrible that I'm going to look them up on You Tube right now and listen to everyone of them. And Schoolhouse Rock! And the commercials. And how every TV sitcoms theme song told you everything you needed to know about the show you were about to watch. Jesus, we need a 70's thread just so us old timers can relive this amazing decade. Even worse than I remember it being. Start down the rabbit hole here: Edited November 20, 20187 yr by Go Pokes

Plus, I learned pretty quickly how to kill Billy Jack with not even breaking a sweat. Just pull out a .38 before his usual monologue he utters before actually fighting someone and it's over. Don't worry, you have 3 minutes to pull. aim, and fire. Even if you cut off his head, it would still be soliloquizing a good 2 minutes after it falls off.
