  • He actively shit on Texas on the way out, trying to prevent good coaches to come here and told recruits to go somewhere else, all to make himself look better. Do you really think he wants Sark to win

  • He's been a petulant cunt at NC over the last few months and they told him to get lost. He hasn't changed and shouldn't be anywhere around the program.

His chance to hang a loss on them?

They never lose when he’s on the sideline

At least he wouldn't have to go far to kill himself recruiting.

Mike Gundy Suggests Ex Texas Longhorns Coach Mack Brown as Potential CFB Commissioner

Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy believes appointing former Texas Longhorns coach Mack Brown or Nick Saban to a Roger Goodell-like position in College Football could help save the sport.

Mike Gundy needs to figure out how to score more against Utah and KState, instead of threatening to inflict Mack on errybody. Hell, maybe Gundy should take the "Commisioner" job himself. The press conferences would achieve high levels of sheer awesomeness...

Some interesting commentary on Mack. I don't think papa Shipley is a fan.

Not what I heard.   Shipley was giving Mack flowers

An 18" mullet must be required.

Just noticed this subtle (and hilarious) exercise of editorial license in the photo caption

Translating for Gundy:

Commissioner = control by the old middle of the pack over the new superpowers

Mack Brown = a reprise of a past in which Texas doesn't have laser beams for eyes

Save the sport = try to stop the future from arriving

It makes sense from the standpoint of he's first ballot HOF at office politics and probably should quit coaching.

Yeah, save the sport is some self-serving wording here.

Many of us weren't even aware the sport was dying.

Middle of the pack teams like OSU are in a better position now than they’ve ever been. Win your conference and you’re guaranteed a spot in the national title playoffs. A top 10 regular season finish makes it highly likely as well. This is miles better than the BCS and early CFP eras where only the blue bloods had an honest chance.

He’s just upset that his team is massively underperforming and that OU/UT are gone, leaving him without a boogeyman to blame his suckage on.

There are teams who will never be blue bloods but are usually respectable and would often spoil someone else's season in the BCS/4-team days.

Okie Lite is one of them. Others teams in that weird little echelon were Ole Miss, Wisconsin, Oregon State, Louisville, Iowa, South Carolina, K-State. I'm sure I'm missing a few, but those are teams that didn't spend a lot of time in the top ten, but were known for keeping better teams out of contention.

I was present for that beating by Oregon and Mariotta. I honestly think they pulled-back the reigns on that game, as it was pretty evident from the 1st half.

Mack quit coaching at least 2 weeks ago

He's killing himself on those sidelines

Tied at 17 with Pitt at HT in one of the few decent games this window

3-3.  Letting James Madison beat you thrice scares you to death.

Holstein is playing solid for Pitt. So surprised Michigan didn’t try to get him in the portal. Maybe they tried, I don’t know.

Hook’em!!!

Mack has lived long enough to see himself become the villain. He could have died a hero if he had just retired after 2009.

Coach Brown this is self awareness. Self awareness, Coach Brown. The two of you have obviously never met

lol… he has probably made $50mm+ since 2009.

If they keep paying me and I like what I do, I’m going to keep doing it.

He would have "begrudgingly" come back after Coach Boom was fired after year four.

Fuck you, pay me Mack middle finger meme.

Absolutely delicious watching that fraud circle the drain.  He and Deion should get a room.

NC is entering their 2010 era, it appears.

I wonder how long they can hold out for Mack to "get it fixed."

Tarheels and Seminoles, both dying a slow miserable death.  I'm OK with it.

You've got some interesting hearing.

He basically said Mack can be fiery but also fair.

And that's fair

I don't think they can let this go one into next season.

The atmosphere in and around the stadium yesterday was very, "blah". And it is a terrific stadium. They are huge on both sides of the ball and I was amazed that our defensive line, very thin, undersized and young, held on like they did and held them to 2/6 on 4th. It was huge.

I don't understand what he is doing with Hampton. That kid is a wrecking ball. They have some other backs too and I would have run a bit of two-back sets to confuse Pitt, they didn't. I'm not sure if Mack can use the lost QB in game one as the excuse because Criswell is just not an elite QB.

It was a fun game from my perspective. I don't think Mack had much fun.

I know for sure that their fans were miserable after the game.
